Do you have any pics of the torch or the radioactive dragoneye zoas?

Do people prefer to heat the sump or have the heaters in the tank itself?

This thread is making me wonder how much I pay to heat my tank in the garage. I've thought of insulation on the garage door to save costs and I'm only in the 76-78 range.

I found out to heat my 180 reef tank to 82 i was spending about 300-400 a year in electricity.

Bombertech has some garage tips as he lives in colder eastern oregon.  I think he does things like covering the tanks in acyrlic, utilizes insulation etc...

Thats how i found out how much it was running me, the heater was costing me way more then even my LED lights,

thats just the temp i have always ran it at but didnt realize until recently the amount it was costing me.

I was just wondering which people suggest heating the main tank or heating the sump? i keep my tank heated to about 80-82 and its been costing me a fortune just to heat the tank so im trying to find a way to cut the cost a little bit without heating the room to that level (room is usually 65).

I dont have any pics but it looks like the one in this pic i found online, and im in Vernonia but go to Hillsboro and Forest Grove often so could meet there if you were interested.

I have some candy cane, some duncan and possibly some torch coral if interested (waiting to frag the torch until i find ppl interested in some of it), also have some frog spawn.

looks nice if i had better luck with anemonies i would take it

I was wondering if anyone knows a good way to repair scratches on an acrylic tank i got a 55 gal and have been trying the wet-sand paper of 1500 grain, and then polish but i think im just creating more scratches. any help would be appriciated.

Where are you located I'm definitely interested in a couple of those they are beautiful colors.
