Go to Lowes or HD and pick up some gutter guard and cut a small piece and roll it and stick it in there leaving it sticking out of the water a bit, this will quiet it down a little and will also keep fish and snails out.

Right before i removed him, notice one of my clowns up in the corner.

I'm starting to look into replacing the aquaponic flood tray with a frag tank and keep him but that might take some time so i'm still trying to find him a new home.

Removing the tang gave my clowns a chance to find and start enjoying their nem 

When i was reading about Vibrant on RC i thought peoples macros were ok. Maybe i'm confusing the Bryopsis thread with the Vibrant thread.

I guess i need to go back and read the thread again and toss what little bit is left. 

Will be on the hunt for Chaeto once again and discontinue Vibrant for now.

Not sure what i use is called or where it came from for that matter   I wish i could be more help.

I was walking past my kitchen counter and saw this thing sitting there, i was thinking some junk mail.

It didn't take me long to get curious and go look at some coral with it and the amber lens makes the corals pop for sure but more importantly it made it possible to get a picture that somewhat represents what it actually looks like although a bit exaggerated.

My Chaeto has been disintegrating.

I'm not sure whats going on, Holly being the awesome person she is gave me a couple nice clumps of very healthy Chaeto and within a couple days it just exploded in growth then about 2 weeks later I've been noticing it getting smaller and smaller.

Po4 undetectable with new Salifert.

No3 25ppm Salifert.

Been dosing Vibrant twice a week.

Also ran out of gfo and put some phosguard in my filter sock until the gfo arrived.

I was hoping to move him pretty fast, he's in one of my sump compartments and can't stay there much longer.

I called Jeff at Cuttlefish to arrange a trade in but i found out he won't be in until Wed.

Again, he is aggressive. I caught him by a fluke accident and was not prepared. When i had the net in there in his fight or flight he quickly chose fight and started attacking the net. This shocked me and i decided to go ahead and capture him.

My next option is to move him to the frag tank but it's only 5'' deep and i really don't want to have to do that.

Is there anybody out there that can help me cut up a old tank to repurpose a few pieces?

I'm trying to build a ATS and have several old tanks and sumps that I can cut up, problem is, I have no way of making any square cuts or an appropriate saw.

A rough guess is I need

x2 5" x 12" tall

x2 12" x 12"

And probally a piece for a bottom.

I can see a use there for sure. Duncans can have a pretty tight stucture.

Bone cutters is all you need.

Or do you have tree trunks growing in your tank? 

I have a 25+ head of duncans i fragged off a rock whole with plain ol bone cutters.

Ok ChrisQ, will do. I have never had a piece before. That piece is new as of 2 days ago. I bought it as a small colony. Starting it at the bottom of the tank then working it up to about 11" from the surface. 2 double ended 250W MH 14,500K and four 54 watt T5s.  What kind of lights did you have it under?

And 2 Neptune 4,000GPH in-tank-power-heads.

I've tried several frags over the years under Reefstars then later Radion/T5 and lost them mainly due to nutrient export issues and algae. 

Awesome forest fire! Let me know if you ever frag it it's always been a favorite of mine, don't seem to have much luck with them though.
