If you did a 96x30x24 that would be a great tank and you could do about and kinda fish you wanted.
-
Imo a in wall is only a good option if there is room behind it to work and clean it but that really depends what kind of tank you want if you stay under 24"wide 24 tall a i wall could work. But if it was me I love having a wide tank and large tank I have from now on will be 36"wide minimum

Hint please, Chris. Invert? Coral? Hitchhiker? Is it desirable? Unusual? Normally a different color? Give us something else to go on.

So let's have some fun I was looking in my tank today I seen something strange. If you can guess what it is I will give you a free frag of something.
(Yes I already know what it is)

With that tank being so short im thinking that with the rw you are going to have a hard time getting the flow without blasting the coral my rw pumps have to be about 4 inches under the water or they suck air. I really think that the gyre is that best option on a shallow thank.

A say run it! Run it 24/7 and stuff that 40g with 10 4" tangs and you will be right at the limit of one inch per gallon of fish..????
-
That's great and hope we can continue to do this in the future!! Well done everyone. Know let's double it next year????

Thanks everyone, I haven't heard about vinegar dosing but i will look into it. I cross posted on nano-reef and they are helping out a lot over there as well. I assumed that not hearing anything was good news, apparently not. I excluded on here that said friend was actually my boy-friend. He just moved out, apparently my animals stressed him out too much so now he's an ex.. what a day.
That's a bummer but if he can't handle feeding/ cleaning a fish tank then he can't handle taking care of women properly. ????
