1. If I actually listed all the zoas I'm looking for the list would be pretty [language filter] long
2. What zoas do you have and ill let you know if I'm looking for em
3. All in all not the best week by far I lost my first fish and hopefully I don't lose a second soon :(
4. Okay so my goby jumped yesterday and I have no idea why, my dumb*** left the top of again (DOH!) and he messed himself up pretty bad couldn't swim and the snails were on there way when I put him back. Anyways, I decided to feed my maroon roonie. And he has a bite taken out of his fin?? I have nasserius snails and a peppermint. Would any of these two eat a live fish? He looks healthy I mean to me, his colors are wonderful and he's fat, I've had him for about 3 months and he's shown no signs of ich, so idk what could be wrong.... I'm kind of stumped right now. I hope by accident I didn't bring a predator in my tank from the couple rocks I got from ppl..
5. Thank you brad, for another addition o the pico soon.
6. Question: do you snip your tips on sps for better growth? I've read that works but never had the wuevos to try. LMK is so your a boss coralcrazy
7. The maxi mini rock, can't see all of em cause placement (didn't have much choice) but there is a lot around the back
8. Thank you, You did, thanks to jaadams got a lot, they are all smaller and not full grown, but there is 27 lol 2 micro babies to (I think) so might be 29. Measured the rock it would fit pretty good as well
9. Sorry about pic size but this is the mantis we've had forever.
10. Might add my dwarf mantis, John needs to chime in and let me know if this would be okay. Mantis don't damage corals do they? And I heard that the dwarf mantis can withstand light better
11. Thanks man, Yeah I do that now on the biocube I have two bags, one carbon, one GFO, Was thinking about doing the same thing but the basket is smaller, I could just hang both bags under the rack.
12. Thanks for the info, I thought it was weeks lol oops I still won't be holding it that long though. Just cause I last used it and about 4 months the thing broke down kinda, and carbon got EVERYWHERE. Nub mistake
13. Alright so I saw this picO for sale on this forum and had to pick it up for the price. I have wanted one of these tanks since I started my last pico tank that was just your fluval you can pick up at a petco. Unfortunately, I know from nano-reef.com that this company has gone out of business, kinda a shame considering all the cool products they made like the Glazer picO skimmer, and their other picO tanks. Anyways here is the experiment. 4gal picO Equipment: Hydor pico evo-mag 300gph 1 hydor heater Plans: Mangroves/ AC20 refuge Gnome glass skimmer Par 38 LED lamp then shortly after either a kessil a150w or a nano box led light LS I already have and ready to swap: 27 maxi minis Yumas Zoas CUC: Hermit crabs Skunk cleaner shrimp or Manty Maintenance: Weekly 20% water change (about 8cups) Chemi-pur Filter floss changed weekly- bi-monthly I plan on keeping this guy up for awhile. As my other tank that I got from Jeramy (thanks Jeramy) Is going to be stonies only (mainly just chalices and sps) Wish me luck.
14. If you got the money they are selling these nanobox.com LEDs fit under a hood easy. But I as well have that issue of reef hobbyist and if you go that route it's gonna be a nice little tank
