We are working extremely hard with all the prep work that goes into our large event. Everything is looking great and we can’t wait to see everyone this weekend. Party is from 11-5pm on Saturday but specials run all weekend.
We will be staggering out the grab bags and will be released a certain amount each hour. So please don’t feel like u need to arrive early. There will be lots of things going on.
Grab bags are going to be epic.
It want to personally thank everyone who bought a mystery box. With 50 sold it probably is the biggest compliment I could ever receive. The amount of trust that you have all showed makes all the hard work seem worth it. Please email jeffslemp@cuttlefishandcorals.com or sent us a pm on which date and general time you are wanting to pick it up.
See everyone soon and stay tuned for more details.- 6

10 year annual anniversary sale!
December 11th and 12th
It’s time to celebrate! We can’t believe we have been in business for 10 years. What a ride it’s been. Our anniversary sale had always been more of a customer appreciation event. We wouldn’t have made it this long without all your amazing support. So here is what we have planned.
Mystery boxes - $100-1000 of amazing corals selected for each customers personal needs. We have sold 35 boxes so far and only have 5 remaining. Don’t sleep on these. It’s a great way for us to give back. We also will be making a trip to Seattle to distribute all of them to our amazing customer.
Grab bags - these have become a fun tradition. Bags will be loaded with amazing corals. Jawbreakers, indo torches, these will be random. Super high end corals mixed in with other killer pieces.
Bogo $10-40 frags - always popular.
20% off fish
Special on salt and other staples.
Our holiday raffle - this will run now threw the 23rd.
Every $50 spent gets you a free entry. Grand prize will be a Red Sea max nano - white. Tons of other amazing prizes.Food and drinks.
We can’t thank are customers enough for all the amazing support and we are looking forward to the next 10.

My understanding is this kit tests multiple parameters. Does it test them one at a time, or can you run two tests in parallel?
I've gotten into a routine measuring Nitrate and Phosphate, and it involves both tests running at the same time.
- Hanna HI782 Nitrate high range - requires 7 minute wait for test results
- Hanna HI736 Phosphorus low range - requires 3 minute wait for test results
Setup is the same for both kits. Fill vial with water, pour chemical into vial, shake vial for 2minutes. Then put in Colorimeter, wait for its timer to count down.
So my system is, get everything prepped at once. Fill vials, cut open chemical packets. Pour into nitrate vial, shake 2 mins, start colorimeter. 7 min Nitrate timer starts. Then pour chem into phos vial, shake 2 mins, start colorimeter. 3 min Phos timer starts. ... And there's usually 4 mins left on the Nitrate timer.
So I get both readings out, within a minute of each other. Clean up, put away.
Each test is individually done. It’s the same as a regular Hanna. Just a neat case to keep them organized.

Chromis are notorious for having uronima. Especially from liveaquaria. Anything that is not bought from divers den on live aquaria is shipped directly from quality marine which is a large wholesaler in la. The quality of their livestock has really taken a sharp decline over the past few years. I’ve had to cancel my account with them.
There are good chromis out there. But be careful where u get them.- 2
