Gotta love new toys!

Swapped everything into a fusion 10. I really like the AIO. The new sicce pump is dead silent and really moves the water!

Also moved everything to the kitchen counter instead of the bedroom.

I'm picking up a nuvo fusion 10 tomorrow so I'll be selling my current tank. It's a finnex cube low iron glass. The glass is in amazing shape, the tank is only like 3 months old. It will be just the tank and an Ac70 which has been converted to a hob fuge. I'll be keeping my lights unless the fusion is too wide for my aquaray plus light. So the price now includes the tank and hob fuge. The back of the tank is plasti dipped black right now. It can easily be peeled off if wanted.

I just added my first piece of sps today to test the waters per say haha. I'm mainly sticking to zoas and LPS right now. J dog is hooking me up with some frags once I pick those up I'll see how much room I have left.

Thank you ladies! Here is a new full tank shot with the nem in its chosen spot. Unfortunately it's right where my shrimp and goby where at so I'm curious to see what comes of it haha!

Little tank update

Everything is doing great. Aside from one of my clowns going carpet surfing :-(

With the ATO everything is very simple and I enjoy that part! Ella and I stopped into Upscales today and came home with a new green bubble tip, cleaner shrimp, a pistol shrimp and goby pair! (Both currently in hiding) and an awesome purple plate coral!

Can't wait to see what to do with the tank! I wish I had something I could give you but I was in the same boat I sold it alllll lol

Those are one of the only fresh water fish I've seen that I like. Any specific type of discus? Beautiful setup for fresh!

I think you're right. I need to build a little acrylic raiser for it. I messed with it some more and my corals seems pretty pissed off with it being so close. I'm going to grab a piece of acrylic from tap and make a mount to raise it up a bit. I tossed my other light back on it and within 10 minutes my trumpet was plumbed back up and zoos were staying open.

Swapped the finnex out for the cherryaqua I nano it has much better color but seems to shadow much more. Not a huge deal just had to play with placement. Going to slowly add sps and a nem to see how it handles them.

Thank you for the ideas JManrow. I plan to, but havn't yet, look up these species and more.

 

 

Does anyone else know of saltwater plants that tend to grow-up and out above the water surface?

Haha I know! It'll be full in a couple weeks I'm sure. I'll be gluing frags to the back glass lol. I'm going to upgrade the light over time and toss sps in it at some point too.
