  2. Here is a link if you know anybody looking in Oregon City let them know!!! https://www.redfin.com/OR/Oregon-City/19996-Berge-View-Ave-97045/home/25826927 thanks!!
  3. Yup it's strange.. Nothing blocking the water or air intake...... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yea, that's the problem. it's at 9 inches now i have tried every half inch increment in the suggested spec. Running it at each depth for 5 days or so. The waterline in the skimmer sits about 2 inches above the external water level. Leaving 8-10 inches before anything comes close to the neck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nah. I'm officially throwing in the towel. They win. But like I said they have lost at least one customer from this. Just needed to vent a bit and hopefully spare somebody from making the same mistake I did. Now the hunt for a new skimmer! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I know you get what you pay for but I gave into my "cheap" side and bought an Eshopps PSK-100 skimmer. Worst mistake ever! It flat out wont work without restricting the output to a trickle (not just the lowest setting but actually blocking it with an additional piece of PVC). Taking a product that was designed to handle 100 gallon system and adapting it to probable handle something like 30. I spent a almost a month dealing with there incredibly rude and unresponsive customer service and got nothing out of it. In the end they want me to pay to ship it back to them with absolutely no guarantee that they will send it back once fixed or send me a replacement.... I know I will never buy a product from them again, and wanted to make sure everybody here thought twice. If they are a sponsor or somehow affiliated with this site I apologies and please take this down.
  7. okay so here is the deal I need to get rid of my DDrum digital drum set, but if I put it on craigslist somebody will give me money!!! Sounds great I know, but then when I try to spend that money on anything reef related im meet with heavy opposition from the wife. So I figure just skip the whole money step and see if anybody here wants them and has something I want! They are in almost perfect condition and work great, come with and amp and headphones probably a $250-$300 value. let me know what you have and we will see if we can make a deal I have recently set up a 60 cube so I could use all sorts of stuff. wants- decent set of LEDs bio pellet reactor (wanna give that a try) MP-40 Frag setup coral lots of other thing that I might not know even exist
  8. I just set up a new 60 cube, but had to make a deal with the wife to get rid of my three dart frogs and their exo terra house. That being said I there is a ton of open space in my new cube! If anybody wants to make a trade for some coral (preferably LPS or zoos). I could also use an auto top off, reactor, Kessil ........ If you want them let me know what cool things you have!!!
  9. Hey just bought a 60 gallon tank and looking for an in sump skimmer anybody have something collecting dust? Let me know what you have and what you want for it. Thanks

  13. So I'm fairly new to keeping saltwater life. I've had freshwater tanks forever but one day stopped by ocean in a box... just to look! $300 later I had "everything" needed to turn a spare 55 into my first saltwater aquarium and a mad wife. I learned a lot and fish did great! But then it hit I NEEDED a yellow tang! So knowing that wouldn't do well long term in a 55 I went out and found me a deal on a 240. The new and much improved tank is doing great and has been up for about 3 months now the few fish are thriving. But now I can't stop googling hammer coral, zoanthid, sps, "cool coral"....... The list goes on and on. I'm excited to have a local team that can help me with all my "how do I keep this alive or maybe even thrive" questions! Tank info 240 truvu Dual 400w MH Pacific coast skimmer 55 gallon sump with an extra 15 gallon refug So yeah that's me and my new tank I hope I can learn a lot from all of you and turn this into a awesome reef Thanks for your time Zack
