Im definately not going now!

I think you should still jump in I really don't mind which way it goes
-
I would do self research thats jusy one article I read and found interesting
-
I also looked into that but I also say read that since it is CW the cycle is longer I read on Oregon Coldwater his cycle took 5 months so I decided against it. I know a femto wouldn't take as long but I will stick with what I know and do a warmwater reef

Ok ac20 filled is only 1 1/2 cups which is about .3 quarts (4 cups in a quart) so this could work well for everyone.
Also the enchinata I'd be in looks pretty cool ( plus at the end it'd look really nice in my display (whistle) )
-
I feel its safe to say we are going with the 4qt setup so I think i'll start my build today(ish). I was thinking a 6x4x4 which is .48gal and if I were to use an ac20 that would put it at .98 gallons never built my own glass tank but its time to learn
-
Derbid I was thinking of an aio system to hide the pump so display would be extra tiny lol
-
I'm curious if the light will be sufficient enough for stable heating?

I think that taking water from an established tank is smart i think this should be allowed unfair for those who have nanos though but if you want I say yes.
Tft frag growout sounds good but what are you thinking? Zoas or shrooms? I think sps and lps will be tough for those using cf bulbs

Well with these we are doing water changes weekly so I don't think there is need for filter. Just water movement
-
I hope so. Sent you a pm btw about vote change. I looked into chillers and def not in the budget
-
Also I'm waiting till we figure out about size before I start my build I'm thinking that if we are doing weekly water changes that should be a rule? That being said I see no need for the filter and just running an AIO system with chateo in the back for nitrates.
Also thanks noob that was by far one of the easiest fiy run throughs

I'm trying to figure out if we could do a cold water on this budget
