Thank you Mohaynow for the help! Yeah the stand is not setup for a large sump, I was going to try to strengthen the outside and back and open up the stand for a full sump but instead upgraded my whole system.

I went to napa and baught 2000 grit wet paper for a few large scratches. This made the acrylic foggy but got rid of the scratches then I used Novus #2 with a small buffing pad on a cordless drill. then novus #1 to clean it up. Looks great, maybe 2 hours of work. and $30.
