  1. I have a 5lbs co2 tank for sale. Dont need this naymore cause I switched to dosing, The bottle is in pretty good conditon. 50 bucks and its filled
  2. Man at our old place I had a tank room. There was holes drilled in the wall and all the equipment was mounted in the room behind the tank. Now I have just a stand to place things and with a little baby always trying to open the stand doors, things get crazy with a co2 bottle just sitting there so I moved on to dosing. Its really simple with a stand alone doser, you just set it to how many ml you want per day and it splits the dose into as many times as you choose.
  3. Got the bubble magus pumps all setup and the dosing will begin. The three parts Here is the doser monuted and set
  4. I will be using full zeo on this new tank.
  5. Did you see who he cited? That man is a very well known author who has done serious studies of metal halide bulbs.

    MP10

Some people are using them on 1/2 inch and getting away with it.
  13. I have been looking for a solid return pump for the last year or so. I looked at panworld, eheim, iwaki and went through 2 genx 40 so far. I made the final decision with the hy5000 water blaster pump. Now those of you who know anything about coralvue know these bubble blaster pumps freakin ROCK! The build quality feels top notch and they have silicon nitrid shaft and bearings so calcium deposits don't block the output of the impeller, somthing you dont find in even the most expensive pumps like red dragon. The pump ONLY uses 60 watts and pushes some very serious water. I have it dialed way down and this makes the genx 40 feel like a nano pump, produces virtually no heat barely even feels warm, handles 1300 gph and so far is dead silent. Its is supposed to be one of the most engery efficient pumps on the market. They have a 3yr no questions asked warrenty meaning if anything breaks they replace it with no hassle and there customer serivce is one of the best in the aqaurium indsutry. If your looking for a solid, quiet and very energy efficient pump look no further then the water blaster line of pumps.
  14. Bump still have the reactor willing to do 150.00 with out bottle.
  15. You shouldn't rely on your lfs to stock your tank, Do your own research and buy what is approprate for your system.
  16. Not surprised, that light fixture is know to be a Par monster.
  17. Im using bulk reef supply and it's very easy. They have a reef calculator that makes things simple as pie. You just type in your tank size/water volume and you off, very cheap and easy, you can't go wrong.

    60g cube

Is that one ai sol enough for that tank?
  19. Should have put these 2 pump in the same thread but didnt think I was gonne sell it. This is a mag 12 pump that runs 100% perfect and it a pretty solid pump with good noise levels I have ran this pump external and internal and both ways work good. looking to get 70 bucks for it... http://www.aquacave.com/Mag-Drive-12-Water-Pump-P507C772.aspx
  20. Bump! I still have the calcium reactor and co2 perfect for your reef. This reactor kept my alk dead stable, never fluctuated. You don't even need to buffer your system with any supplements. I would go months with no water Change and my alk/cal would be right were I left them and it also add other trace elements as the media dissolves.
