im using instant ocean salt mix. and right now just a fowlr i'd like get few thing in there but it a 10gal tank im going up to 30 gal soon since i got maroon clown but still just going stay with the 2 maroon babys i got and one damesl i got unless i get him gone not sure yet if i like him.is there anythin i could add to tank thats easy take care of like add little color?

still learning on saltwater stuff got small tank thats doing good so far but one 1 month old what i'd like to know it what are all test kits i should be buying i use the test strips for awhile do they work good? i know basic test ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,ph,calcium,copper and alky is there any others that would be needed? and what are the meds i should be getting and any other good additives for the tank ty all for your help

if u get two small maroons will they pair up as they mature? i got one other day maybe 1inch and going get another next week how hard are they get to breed do u need anything special for them to breed? do they do better if they have there own tank to breed in any tips on someone think about breeding some

also for a off the wall style is use a pump at top of the tank if u loss power u can't flood the water just stop since there no sipon great way do it on tanks that take a lot have drilled or plans that makes drilling a bad option but bad is with a sump/refugium takes two pumps :(

you mite be able go with the hang on light like used with lizard cages there just round and metal with a socket easy to hang and mange then get one of the Zoo Med Reef Sun 50/50 Compact Fluorescent Bulb to put in mite take 2 or 3 them for your tank there easy hang and wont cost alot but not sure with mh if there work i got one of them on my 10gal and lights it up nicely but its a small tank

i had a thought and i'd like peoples input. would cheto grow in a tank say u got a 30gal tank you took the back side and glue in a type of screen on it useing pvc pipe to add a 1inch space between the glass and the screen where cheto would grow and glue it in on the bottom and sides leaveing the top open then add the cheto in to it would this work. would this work as a in tank refuge for a small tank

i wont full stock it all i do is put first few fish in like two clowns or like chromis i'd have a section on hand of few hardy fish to choose your starting fish since a 10gal should only have 2-4 fish and 20gal should only have about 4-8 fish where not over stocked. and id probly have few snail in tank maybe a shrimp help keep it cleaned could even on right set up do small sump/refugium

ya i will deliver them to boise area.as for the mini cycle it should be too bad would it be since i'd have tanks set uo for about 1-2 months at least after being cycled

i been thinking about selling some small tanks like 10-20gal tanks all ready set up with everything already cycle with fish and all im looking for some input back cuz a 10gal tank cost about 300-500 bucks set up i live in boise idaho area there not alot saltwater shop and few there are just dont shine the best so what ur guy/gals input on this to get more people in the hobby the tanks im selling would have 10gal to 20gal tank light hood with 50/50 bulbs or 2t5ho a hob skimmer with power filter have like 10-20lb live rock 30lb live sand heater 2 power heads i would include all main test ammonia nitrite nitrate ph and alkalinity a quarantine tank thats a 5.5 light for it and 50/50 bulb fish food flakes and 8oz cube brine shrimp 2 light timers 50gal salt mix and 2 fish few snails and shrimp or 2 is there anything else a good starter tank would need? what the mini cycle like after tanks moved? never seen a problem when moving my 10gal tank around the house. all in a cycled tank ready for the basic care of the buyer like have some people input on this or if i should add anything to the set up because i'm really thinking about doing this i'll be smart start with one see if it'll sell then go on from there but trying sell the best set up i can so people be successful and want keep going in hobby. never seen a problem when moving my 10gal tank around the house
