  1. I've had this tank probably a couple of months and have decided that I just don't have the money to actually do what I want to do with it. I am also getting married later year and it wouldn't hurt to save a bit on salt and food.

    I'm asking for $100

Would make a great frag tank!

it has stand, canopy, 10g tank for a sump, skimmer, power heads... everything it needs and is currently up and running. it only has a huma trigger buyer can have him or he will go to Westside.

BTW Jesse: How do you think it's looking? doesn't even look like the same tank!

  2. Those pictures make me sad... poor corals... I'm sorry to hear about all this going on for everyone. I suppose I'll avoid it due to me not having any sps... I wouldn't mind a piece or two to try out but, with everyone with more experience than me are having trouble perhaps I'll wait awhile longer.

  3. I got these from Jesse awhile back when I bought a tank from him and I never asked what they where DOH!

pissed them off a bit to take the picture. they are pink though

  4. As a newer member here I did notice his tone was IMO a bit out of line and have thought reading his posts that he needed to chill a bit. I never talked with him in any way but I was interested in hearing how his shark tank is going to turn out and will miss seeing updated pics of it. I have however, met Kim and seen her tanks and have gotten some info from her which I appreciate. In her posts that fall under the 'drama' category I feel though I feel have been fairly confrontational most have had a slight tongue in cheek tone. I don't know if the ban was justified or not as I am still new I don't think I'll miss any of his more mean spirited posts.

Still curious about the sharks though (scratch)

  5. lol I have 2 crappy Bflat Clarinets here and my fiance has a wood one (we met in high school band lol) A 3/4 size violin with no bow and a old keyboard. I very much enjoy music and preforming. Too bad I haven't preformed in many years (sad)

I hope that this bass will go to someone who will appreciate it for what it is (clap)

  6. bass is not just a rhythm instrument IMO. you jusdt need to be more creative is all. Slapping and tapping are both very interesting styles that can have a hard time finding their place in a full band setting. I've played bass for something like 14 years and fully enjoy jamming by myself. That said, most people don't start out saying 'man I want to learn how to play bass!!!'. Every one wants to be Hendrix, jimmy page, or Kirk Hammet and no one (that I know) says they want to be Getty Lee, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, or Ryan Martini. (scratch)

I currently have 2 basses 1 electric guitar and an acoustic guitar. (rock2)

All I ask is: don't be hatin' on the bass (laugh)

  7. Thanks Alex. That's what I've found out after a little research. I've decided that if I ever get another clam I'll look for a 3" plus one and not feed. I'd have been sad if it died on me. I may have just gotten luck after I bought one so small.

btw. It was nice meeting you ate the xmas party :)

  8. Short back story here. I've had a maximas calm for probably close to a year now. I did enough research to make sure that I could keep it alive. Waiting a little over 6 months before I bought it. It is still very healthy and growing however at the time I didn't know about needing to feeding them if they are under 3" Something I've only just learned recently. When I bought it it was around 2". Tim (Westside) sent me with a bottle of DTs and told me how to spot feed it after first asking me about my lights, tank size and age of my tank (part of the reason Westside is my LFS of choice) to make sure I wouldn't get it home just to kill it.

My question here is about what is a good amount of growth expected from a healthy clam? I about mine at probably about 2.5" maybe a little smaller and is about 3" now I'm not quite sure how long I've had it but it's probably about a year now. Is about 0.5" a decent amount? I also stopped feeding it some time ago as well.

  9. I like this idea too and would like to be a part of it every time one I like comes up. I can rarely afford such expensive corals but I like to have them :) and I paid for my membership at the Xmas party so I'm all for the members only part too. However I'm not sure when my membership will be activated ...?...
