I would love to try and I will some time. However, now is not my time to try. sounds like it's a very rewarding experience.

I just got home from there. it was a great presentation. I'm tempted to go out and buy some air line and a black round tub and start breeding. Even though I don't have anything spawning.(laugh)

55g tank no sump (scratch)
hydor koralias: 1050, 425 and a 450 gph (going to replace the smaller two with another 1050gph tomorrow)
48 Inch 4x54 Watt AquaticLife T5 HO Light Fixture W/ 4 Lunar LEDs
2 ATI blue +
1 ATI purple plus
1 KZ new gen 14K
3g HoB CPR refugium
AquaC Nano Remora Protein Skimmer with 900 maxi jet pump
I occasionally feed cyclopez (maybe weekly. I'm out of it right now.) and sometimes stir up the sand a little... other then that I don't often feed the coral. just mysis and pellets for the fish.

the rock I was actually hoping to keep. But, I was willing to work out a deal with whoever wanted to buy the whole set. My brother is setting up a new tank and was going to give it to him.
-
bump.
I'm not trying very hard to sell this lol. I'd also consider some zoas or chalices for trade for it.
-
I voted for the wrong one too.... but I like the one I did vote for too so... it's ok I guess lol
-
looks like this. It's small or at least the one I found was. About half the size of one of the zoa polyps
not my picture
-
Whatever the type I'm happy you got this working now. I'm ready to see this up and running and see how I do lol. the prizes look great

I'm really paranoid about my main tank now. All the zoas from in the 10g came from my main tank at one time. Except one that was only in there a day or two before going in the 10. But, all of them in my main look good. I'll watch it closely.
I just gave them a fw dip and put them back in the tank in a Tupperware container for easier monitoring.
-
upon further inspection I see eggs... what's a good product? Some of the zoas are attached to a larger rock. How would I go about dipping them?
-
I just found one in my 10g tank. my zoas in that tank haven't been doing too well and I could not figure out why. Everything seemed fine water-wise and the tank has been set up for a few months with very few problems-- so I was getting a little frustrated. Today I was cleaning off my rocks with a turkey baster and BAM! I see one and out it goes. I'm wondering, what are the chances of there being more? If there are, I want them gone!

a few more recent pictures.
the recodia had been almost taken out when I had an anemone there was only a tiny bit left of these. I used to have one more color... oh well
My first real attempt at SPS. had them a couple weeks now and they seem to be doing
well
hasn't changed to much sense the group buy but I think the color has gotten a little bluer.

The mimic octopus is doing awesome. It gets a steady diet of red leg hermits and has become quite tame. They only go into mimic mode when they feel threatened. Which it never does in my care. It has a very cool zebra striping that it exhibits all the time. There are around 15 different species of octopus that fall into the mimic category. I can't say how some of the others do in captivity, however I can assure you that with the appropriate care this particular octopus will do well and make an awesome pet.
I would not sell an octopus of any variety without first screening the customer to make sure they have the right set up to house it and they are ready for the responsibility. I talk most people out of octo-adoption. The mimic octopus is very rare in the hobby and quite special. It will likely remain in my care rather than being sold. That way many people can see it and enjoy it here.
Isaac I have never checked out TCM or communicated with you at all but, after reading this it makes me want to check it out and gives me a lot of respect for your work ethic. I've considered getting an octo a few times. I have a friend in Eugene that has kept a couple over the years including a blue ringed octo (which kinda scares me and I'd never try lol). I don't think I have the ability to care for one at the moment but I'm happy to hear that you will be screening your customers for this.

lol yeah I do like the tank in my bedroom. I could use the money right now though (scratch)

I'm really looking forward to this. Thanks for setting it up Jesse. I've been meaning on getting a frag rack for a little while now and I decided that this is the reason for me to go ahead and get one lol.
