The first picture is of the Colony I am fragging them from in my Aquapod. The rest are what I have up on sale for now. I will have more a lot more but they need a little time to heal. Sorry not the best pictures of the frags but I was rushed to quit dinking with around with my tanks after a few hours.

  17. So thought I would put something about my little tank as it has been doing great better than any tank I have ever had. The water quality must just be perfect as the coral I had in it started out as just two little frags 6 months ago. So it is a standard 24 gallon Aquapod system 16.5" L x 13" W x 17.5" W. I have taken the hood off and am using the Ocean Revive Artic-T247-B 120W LED system. and it seems to work great. The great thing about this tank is all I have running in it is a pump in the back chamber no extras no skimmer and the tank just keeps growing. I do a water change once a month and it just keeps going. Take a look and tell me what you think. I am doing a deep clean on the glass today and will post another great clean picture.
  18. Since my little Aquapod has decided to grow coral out the yang yang I have decided to build a quick but cheap frag tank system. Well to me it is cheap and looks cheaply done but it does the job. I have been a big fan of this hobby for years now. Never really posted much on this site but getting back into this hobby again after the move up to Washington. Eventually would like to leave a very well respected job in the medical field to pursue the business side of this hobby in the near future. For now just some fun hobbyist fragging. So here is what I have so far. The tank is a 24 by 24 acrylic. I have drilled two holes in it and decided not to go the overflow route as I am impatient and did not want to wait for the shipping and gluing and just wanted to get it up and running. For lighting I have Oceanrevive LED system which I love. I am using the the Aquoen ProFlex sump model 3 which works great. I bought that originally for my cube build but that is a ways off so used it for this. I do not have a skimmer at this time as I do regular water changes and that seems to work till I save up for a good protein skimmer. I have to use two heaters in this tank as this is setup in my garage and that works perfectly as it is cold outside. Tell me what you think. Remember this is not perfect and it was done quickly and on the cheaper side but seems to be working perfectly. I am proud of the little thing. I have added some pictures of some frags in the tank that seem to being doing good so I will take it.
  19. So after getting all the fish I wanted like the purple tang and the Shmocasso clowns and then of the I finally got my oregon mummy eye. I had to get rid of my 90g. I moved into an apartment with the g/f. we live on the 3rd floor and I did not want to take care of it anymore. So I traded my setup for an english bulldog puppy that will be ready right around christmas time. But I did keep the fish that I listed and will be looking to start up a new cube build.
  20. Thank you that is the fifth time I have changed it. I have a hard time getting things just right and then if I see a unique rock at a store or some where for sale I want it and then have to reshape again to fit it in just right and every time I have a tarp layed out in the living room and it takes me about and hour and a half to get it done and a little arguing with the girlfriend!(nutty)
  21. Update with new aquascape different skimmer, So lastnight i decided that I would like to see my fish more and have more places to put new coral and basically open up the tank more and still have a wall feeling to it. So what d you think of the new look? The first pic was the before... here is the new skimmer to me I put in. Here is the after pics... I also added another diamond goby to my 90 from my aquapod because I got a blue spotted jaw fish for that tank.
  22. Update Here are some pics of the Shmocasso's. They are starting to darken up and looking really healthy.
  23. I bought them at Rose City Aquarium from Nick. He has a pair in his show tank too. I have had great sucess with buying form him.
  24. Today I stopped by RCA and picked up a rock with some ric's on it. I recieved an amazing deal from Nick on it. I also thought I would show an update on the smocasso's.
