    Interested. Any scrapes?

It was buffed before it’s last use so no major scratches or gouges. There are the usual surface scratches from use that would buff out with Novus but should not require any sanding. It’s a utility tank, it is not a show tank priced and accordingly.

    Good day fine folks,

I have a 70 gal reef tank. I am looking for a smaller powerhead that I can angle slightly upward in the opposite back corner of the tank to add some flow and get rid of the ever annoying oil slick. Hit me up if you have something that may help!

    Thanks!

    John

Where are you located? I have a couple powerheads that you can have. In 10 mins north of Vancouver. Not sure if that is worth the trip for you

Good to hear your still at it and man those rays are impressive..................

I know last time I was at Upscales I think he had the twin to the tank I did the stand for and guess what had rays in it................that was a year ago or more................

Yessir! That’s the matching 600 to mine. That pair of rays (Potamotrygon leopoldi) is pair I used to have back around 2014 and they recently bred too!  Small world

How are the Rays doing ? Built you a stand.................

Hey Scott! Hope all is well man!!! They are doing really well. I have a few new 900g poly setups that  I installed windows in for some of the larger pairs and left the acrylic setups for the smaller species.

Since you were last over I’m working with the smallest known freshwater species to try and make available to the US market. Will hopefully have pups in the next 6-12 months.

  8. It’s not tubular like most prefer but held an acrylic tank running for the last five years. I recently moved the tank under a larger setup and need the space back. The stand is free to whoever wants it.  Would make a great lightweight workbench as well.

just the stand and plywood floor with a poly layer on top of it. No tank or equipment included

must pick up in Battle Ground (10 mins north of Vancouver)

  9. Big mechanical prefiltration for large setups/systems or ponds. I was running 9k-10k gallon per hour through it on one of my ray systems. Just replaced that system with two 1k gallon systems so this is no longer needed. Works fantastic and has all pieces from the factory included.

asking $500 OBO (retail is $1,600). There are two holes drilled that you can run either open or closed, they are for more flow but do not effect the filter in any way.

  10. Two matching acrylic tanks 40”x18”x20” (60 gallon), 1/2” acrylic.  Seams in great shape but there are scratches that need it be sanded/buffed. See pics

One has holes drilled in back, the other has a hole in the bottom.

$100 for both, not interested in separating. Only trades I am interested in are working higher wattage UV (25watt or +)

Oh yeah I remember that one. Clear on all but a side overflow? I did check last week but they don’t have anything that gets me excited at those prices. I’ll likely just move forward on my project

you will never find a 4' wide tank. 3' is hard to come by. you could build it for about $1,000 if 24" tall

Figured that would be the case but was worth a shot. I swear every time I build another large tank there’s two that pop up for sale after I’ve been looking for months.

  13. Before I spend a ton on materials for the next build, I want to see if anyone is aware of any large acrylic tanks that are used and/or reasonably priced? Leaks, scratches,  seams, repairs needed etc.. are no problem, my son and I like to restore tanks anyway

looking for 8x4 or larger (any size with 48” or more width). No need for a show tank. Cash in hand.

Power outage in BG? I'm in BG, myself and fortunately, did not have any outages, but I did have some lights flicker on and off.

Anywho, I don't have a reeflo dart, but I do have a blue line 100. It was part of a package deal, when I purchased my first cube about 3 years ago. I never used the pump and has been sitting in my fish room collecting dust. I cleaned it, inside and out, when I first got it. Lmk if this is something that you can use. I have no use for it...

Screenshot from the Apex. Both pumps run around 550 watts combined. After the power outage on the 30th, you can see a massive spike in watts (1345 at max) for no reason and then all over the place until the second burned up (very last spike). I sent you a PM as well but I would love to get that blue line if for nothing else but to get me through Reeflo rebuilding these. Especially being local,.

Thank you so much again for the quick responses guys!!

I have a backup Reeflo Dart/Snapper Hybrid External Gold Pump. It is new in the box since my existing pump is still going strong.

Send me a PM if you still need one.

PM's have been sent, thank you sincerely for your reply. Hopefully we can make something happen.

The outage was on Friday. A transformer down main street blew. The first pump died that day. The  second was jumping up and down in wattage between 400-1100 last night then just died. Both pumps were run on an Apex Fusion so that may have overloaded the Apex or something. The other three Reeflo in the same room are just fine.
