Our Anniversary raffles always seem to be a big hit. This year we are having two different raffle categories.

1. Five Grand Prize Drawings - Tickets are four for $20 or ten for $40 and can be divided amongst the five drawings as you prefer. These tickets will be on sale at the event and are only good for these drawings. You can purchase tickets over the phone or in our store until 5pm Sunday November 9th. We can ship this prize anywhere inside the US in case someone from out of the area wins. Shipping shouldn't be more than $10-$15 and would be paid by the winner if they need it shipped.

- Barrier Reef Gift Bags-

On Saturday Nov. 7th the first 60 customers, and Sunday Nov. 8th the first 40 customers, (limit one per household for the entire event) will receive Barrier Reef Gift Bags. The other 50 bags are being given away during the pre-booked appointments on Friday Nov. 6th. Each gift bag will contain a variety of free items, coupons, and special offers. Every gift bag will not be the same. Some will have bonus prizes and/or gift certificates. In addition there will also be kids gift bags designed for 2-10 year old children. One per child please. We are working hard with our manufacturers to make these really special. Hopefully, the element of surprise adds to the fun!

Every year its reported that people abuse the one per household rule with the gift bags. We ask that you please abide by these rules so that as many folks as possible can enjoy this opportunity.

 Friday November 6th - Private pre-scheduled appointments only (more info to follow). Closed to the public unless you book an appointment. This will greatly reduce the line, crowds, and wait on Saturday. You are also guaranteed a gift bag.

 Saturday November 7th 9AM-6PM - Sunday November 8th from 11AM-5PM (Both open to everyone. No appointment needed.)

 This year's event is going to be a blast!

•Additional shipments arriving Friday after the private appointments to restock for the weekend.

We always get a lot of questions about scheduling the Friday appointments so here we go. Remember, no appointment needed to come take advantage of the sale on Sat/Sun Nov 7-8.

If you want first pick of all the great corals and fish + no crowds or waiting, and a guaranteed free gift bag, set up an appointment for Friday November 6th. We will be closed to the public this day, and we will schedule six customers each hour on the hour, that will be helped by the six employees working that day. The first appointments start at 10AM and the last start at 6PM. We break for lunch between 1-2PM. Yes you can bring family or friends as long as they are willing to share the staff member who is helping you. All the sale specials are good this day! Our specials will be posted soon.

This is an event we have wanted to do for years. Natalia insists that this is the summer to finally do it!

Barrier Reef's 1st Annual Frag Swap & Sale

-Save The Date-

Saturday August 29th
10AM - 6PM

We will set up our pop-up tents in the parking lot, and provide table space and electricity for 8 hobbyists to display frag tanks with frags for sale or trade. You must pre-register for one of these 8 spots. Please email cy@barrierreefaquariums.com. No cost to register.

Any other hobbyists are free to bring coral frags to sell and trade. You can bring your own tables/chairs, cover, tanks, and/or coolers to work out of. We will not be able to provide power for anyone beyond the 8 registered spots and we cannot allow generators. You can use battery back-ups, Radion/Coral Box power sources or any other silent means to provide power to your frag tank. No registration needed. No entry fees. This is a free event designed to bring the reefing community of the Pacific Northwest together.

Barrier Reef will provide refreshments and we will also be running some amazing specials at the shop. We will post the specials next week.

Setup opens at 8AM. Please watch the weather report closely. If its hot, bring fans and ice packs. If rain is in the forecast bring cover. The event is happening rain or shine!
