Yes there is options other than shutting down but I was also kind of looking for an excuse to shut down so I could upgrade to a larger tank and better equipment.

[language filter] how did I miss this. I have been wanting one. And that was a good price. Props to the proud new owner.

Did anyone notice that he even spelled the name of his own city wrong? I see way over priced tanks all the time. Yes this hobby is expensive. But it just like alot of other things. The value goes down rampantly as soon as you plug things in. Just like buying a new car. You drive off the lot, it is now a used car and the value just dropped a few thousand dollars. I might buy the set up for half what he is asking.

autozone and napa both show them in stock for less than 20 bucks
Autozone part #SW141
Napa Part #MPE HL6554SB

Yes the headlight switch is also the rheostat for the dash dimming(rotate knob). Very common problem on these. Like John Said try some crc electronic cleaner in there and maybe a little stabilant 22 if you can find some. Try bypassing the rheostat and see if the lights work. If you have a power probe it is super easy to do. I think I have a test switch lying in my parts somewhere at the house. But my money is on the switch.

I think you are getting a copperband! He's an awesome fish' date=' total spazz like a tang. Shakes his head at you when you are late with the food, which you'd think a fish could not do. I had him fat before.[/quote']
Just let me know. I love spazz fish. They are just like me.

I have a single head frag. I would let go. It is growing super fast too. I could possible frag another one head piece. Would like to do some sort of trade. I am in Aloha just behind the highschool. Go check out The Premium Aquarium. It is a great shop.

Dave that sounds awesome. I don't need all that gear though... could buy it and sell what I don't need or you could keep some of it. I have a copperband I need to rehome that would have loved to work on those majanos (: He's getting thin since I left the tanks at the old place. Do you want to keep any of the gear? Still love that old tank stand Shane built' date=' kicking self. Oh well.[/quote'] I can take that coperband an put him in my 90 I have a manjano factory in there. He would be fat and happy in no time.

My starry blenny does not eat much in the way of algea. But he is a pig when it comes to anything else. He is a cool fish one of my favorites.

As it was explained to me, the plastic barrel color coding works thusly:
BLACK = contents are hazardous or toxic
BLUE = contents are on the GRAS ("Generally Recognized As Safe") list and not considered hazardous or toxic -- note that some food-grade flavorings and ingredients, such as citric acid, are shipped in blue barrels, but on the other hand, so are all manner of industrial chemcials like DMSO...
WHITE = contents are actual food or the basic ingredients of food (like vinegar, soy sauce, etc.)
So look for white barrels, and you won't have to stress over stuff like this.
Good easy way to tell. There is a guy in Hillsboro that gets them from reesers food they mostly have beans or pumpkin puree in them he sells them with lids for $15

GOOD SHOW!!!

NOOB AND J DOG NICE GROWTH!!!! (BTW its 39mm and 28mm) We can clearly see the winners though. Next time I will not go out of town so my frag can be knocked over and killed.

For that amount of weight it is fine. But why .063 wall tubing? I use all .120 wall for my stand builds cause the 20 foot sticks are cheaper because .120 wall is way more popular.
-
Wow that was fast. And I really wanted them. Thats what I get for working I guess.

Are you premixing your dosing with tank water? I had a similar problem with my skimmer. I was dosing into that chamber without diluting much first.

I am at $300 a month. But sometimes I still over spend. That budget does not include the side jobs I do for extra coral money.
