Okay, okay.  I may have taken a few liberties with photoshop.  I was trying to mimic Brad's sale threads, but I should know better than to try to imitate a master photoshopper like Brad.

Here is my real entry for this month.20200629_174945~3.jpg

It’s Lightroom thank you- you must be referring to the green carpet nem I’m passing off as Red :nono:

I try emulate CornBred :icon_bow: now that guy

True Jedi Master at the art of deception

That frag is doing very well (this is my serious side) it looks very happy and healthy.....You’ll want to remember these days to reflect back on, you will know them as “the good ol days”

Beautiful, with the trade off being it’s a devourer of worl— err everything potentially. Glws, truly a centerpiece, but would likely need something built around it.

If a fish touched/hit this thing I’m sure it would be over- It amazes me how they seem to know to stay away all the while swimming closer than I’d like to see.

Heres to hoping the super glue works so I can keep it-

Quick people...... the clocks ticking, I may end up not needing to sell it but for now it’s on the block

    It looks hungry!🍔

Probably was in the first pic that was day 1. Since then it’s had a couple cleaner shrimp I think and a nice sized orange skunk clown-

Noteworthy - don’t force a clown into a carpet nem to host, let it happen naturally 😖

This thing is like fly paper- I may be able to keep it, I’ll know in about 72 hours- trying something new (I super glued its foot to the bottom of the tank :yahoo::rimshot:

Why is the sand out of focus on first picture?

its not really in the tank, I super imposed the nem into the tank.- Or more believable is it was my phones poor editing software

Are you wanting to purchase my sand?

Because it's coming for you?  It does make it look sort of strange - like it's suspended.  The power of focal depth in action I guess.

    Beautiful specimen!

    Probably an editing snafu

It's about that time again! I know I'm a little early, but I'm just so excited about the amazing growth I am seeing!3b8256549219526d5aea97a8b0b75ff4.jpg

You actually have a great amount of new growth, even if you use the magic eraser. I understand that your acros usually die so actual growth may be tough to discern given your level , but its there, trust.

    Nice!

  6. This beauty has been captive kept for about 9 months so the risk for shipping death has passed as well as it not getting established in a closed environment- In other words, the gamble has been taken care of by someone else 😉

I thought it would be a good addition but it just won’t find a place it likes (and I like) but when your tank (my tank) is 90 percent or more Acropora I was delusional thinking it would work

    750.00

this is a show piece and is hard to get rid of with all the risk involved when initially trying to acquire one but I’m a stick head

I can break out the DSLR if needed/requested I just had this pic on my cell

This is interesting. Have you always run your DT at those numbers?  Just curious since you probably have had the most impressive colonies I have seen on the forum. I know there are other SPS masters out there as well but I’ve seen the evidence in your case 😁

Sorry for the delay, I'm just not that active on any forums anymore-It'll change but not for awhile

Ive not ran those numbers in the past- The past was an ULNS with undetectable levels in both PO4 and NO3 but I was also throwing a lot of "food" in for my acros and the KH was around 8.2

Since the reboot I run my KH closer to 11-11.5 and have to keep PO4 and NO3 higher or else I'll burn the tips on all my acros.

Oh!  And I got my Apex mounted... Again, ignore the horrible wire mess... I don't want to spend the time tidying it up until everything is working exactly as planned.  I have a call today with Neptune Systems to diagnose my LINK A/B ports on my energy bar.  They arrived DOA, so, hoping for a quick RMA.

Looking good Micah! FWIW I dont even see the wires- I guess I just miss the finer details, but it looks perfectly fine from here

Heres my early DIY days when I had 1/3rd the wires I do now- I at least did a drip loop (right into that power strip)

Dont judge on the gas can that doubles as the collection container-re-purposing at its best

Thanks Bill. It's good to know we no longer have chloramines in our source water. I won't buy any more expensive chloramine filters.

Im not so sure I would stop using the chloramine filters, whats the chance they switch water sources if there is a problem  (as Portland has in the past) and you wont know until its to late.

Do you have Cerith snails? They look like Cerith snail eggs, I have some Dwarf Cerith snails breeding in one of my tanks and the eggs look like that. There's no predators in that tank so those little suckers are everywhere, constantly pulling out dozens from the filter socks. BTW, anyone want some snails lol

I do have cerith snails- I did get paranoid tho and pulled the plug on that tank, its been drained and is dry until the one above it is full of sticks then Ill bring it back on line.

    Thanks for the reply

  11. Not like any hydroids a I’ve seen or my friend Google has seen either

Closest I found was Nassarius but I have none of them in that tank. The tank hasn’t had anything really in it other than some Trochus I moved in from my QT.

Trochus eggs would be my guess since my Trochus breed/spawn faster than most rabbits. I’m sure that’s what they “were”

Ive had enough surprises for a decade or so and since the tank wasn’t holding anything I just siphoned out the water and it’s back off line.

Probably paranoid (absolutely paranoid die to past experiences) since I have no pest and really nothing “unwanted”............

    That I know of 😳

    It'll forever be a mystery

  12.
I have no idea what these are and they are hard to get a picture of

They are little “bubbles” the size is a little smaller than a BB and they all seem connected by a strand of something and I’d say I have a few hundred.

These are in a frag tank I’ve not really had anything in other than a few mushrooms for about 10 days.
This frag tank is tied into my main system and I did have my snails spawn a few weeks ago.

    Any help is much appreciated

To late did that a few years ago with my Hydras- luck had it there was a comforter on the sofa so just 3 perfect burn holes

I only noticed when I smelt something burning-

    I know that feeling

  14. It’s been a great fish until today when I took a liking to a milli I have.

    I know it will also eat zoas (never seen a regal that doesn’t tho)  other than that it’s been kept with the following and zero issues;

clams,  acans, lobos, trachys, florida rics, bounce shrooms, torches, hammers duncans, frog/octospawn, montis- I think that covers what I know it’s been exposed too.

Eats LRS like pig been captive for about 4-5 months I believe

No signs of, nor any issues with the fish other than the acro incident.

With much regret it must find a new home

I’ll cut right to it so if there is any interest no one needs to ask if I’d take less

250.00 (for a regal eating frozen trust that’s a solid deal)

    TIA for looking

I am also interested in both the light, if the sale falls through.

Do the light come with mounts ?

I may have the eye screws that screw into the top, I have to look since I made aluminum frames they sat so I didn’t use them

    1 light is sold
