Coral beauty re-homed.

I have gotten frustrated a couple of times. Once was back 2000 sold a complete 55 gallon system vowing to find a different hobby. A couple years later I had tanks back in the house again. Just recently my son was in the hospital and my 120 got very little care for 3 months so I sold it with the the idea that I would start doing smaller tanks. Well I just finished setting up my new 120 this morning so " my name is Doug and I am a reefaholic". As far as the other topic I would like to say that with the groups buys and such I think the club has been doing a great job of supporting the sponsors. Way more so then in the past. It is a hard business to make a living in and I speak for both Dave and I when I say we appreciate you all coming in. Doug

I upgraded to a larger tank so I am trying to trade/part trade or sell my 30 gallon tank and stand and sump. The tank is 24" long x 19" tall by 15" deep. It is acrylic with a clear back and clear internal overflow. It was custom built by Davy Jones Locker. The sump is custom built for this tank and stand. The stand was also custom built by DJL and is cherry. This is a very nice tank. It would make an awesome frag tank or reef tank. Things I need are: 3/4" seaswirl DA PC4 DA Net module 2 new 20k 250 watt radium bulbs 48" t5 retro fit kit (2 bulbs) Other than that I am asking 250.00 for everything. Doug

I think the best sumps out there right now are made by Dave at Davy Jones Locker. Several people on the board have them including me. He is very reasonable too. Doug

I personally think that 2" is a little shallow but you could take a giant barnacle shell and partly bury it in the sand. Build the sand up around it then when you put the fish in place him in something he can't get out and put it over the barnacle. Often he will make his home inside of it.

I have a real nice coral beauty angel I would like to trade. He has been in my tank for about 2 years but on this last tank setup my wife decided she would like something different. He is maybe 3" long and I have never seen him nip at any type of coral. Not really sure what I am looking for but it has to be reef safe an friendly to tank mates. Doug

Well it is 4:00 am. Tank is running and almost everything has been moved. I will take some pics tomorrow.

Lights setup. Two 250 mh with galaxy ballast. I will also be adding t5 actinics soon. Adding sand now and rock now.
