I can't help you - BUT i've always had good experience with EHEIM replacing broken parts. If it's anywhere near it's warranty they'll usually help you out. Just good luck navigating their parts page - it's a nightmare.

Anybody happen to have one of these locally?  It's P/N 7440359 and it's got two bayonet fittings to hold the impeller in place.  One of the fittings broke off mine so my calcium reactor leaks now (no good).

I agree with that Icepick, I personally don't run one on my 180 gallon, but I do on my smaller tanks.  

For the big $$ that heaters sell for however, I thought I'd get some interest in trading for a frag or two.
