I have been rip off 2 times. the first time it was my marine shop in 1999 they got away with 80,000 dollars of tools and supplys. the last time was about 3 years ago I had a 50 foot tuna boat and we cought the guy in the boat. he had all my eletronics in a box and ready to go. well we zip tide his hands and feet and took him 20 miles off shore. tied some old set line weights to him and ask him if he thought if he could swim back to shore. we had that guy crying and begging for his life. and yes I let him live. but you can bet that was his 4 hrs of HE-L that he will never forget.

I would go with external less heat build up. but you need to make sure that you have the room to hook one up.

I bought the bulbs new/used they have 2 weeks on them. If it was not for the new blue T5 running in the tank it would be yellow color. the ballest are retro fit and I run 2 of them. they came out of a warehouse and were made into a lighting for a aquarium. I was told that these 14k artemis have a white/blue light. and puts out as much blue as a lot of 20k bulbs out there. I am going to call the lfs that I bought them from and see what thay have to say.

I think that today everyone is looking for a deal. more and more people are breaking down there tanks. and with the Eco. the way it is and now fuel prices going up and heading for 5.00 dollars a gal. yes I do think that your prices maybe a little high. its not to say that your prices are wrong but people are looking for that deal. If you can buy the same coral off of ebay for half the cost then most people will buy that coral. its just like the PPE that I bought last week. a year ago that one eye frag sold on ebay for 600 dollars last week it was 122.00 dollars. My wife tells me that I am a cheep bast--- but I tell her the more I save the more she gets. LOL

I have some old 400 watt 20k mh lights and just replaced them last night with 400 watt 14k Artemis so heres the problem they are putting out a white/yellow light. they also dont seem to come up to full brightness. could it be that my ballest are week? the old bulbs I took out put out a white/blue light but I had some back up 20k bulbs that when installed also put out a white/yellow light. is it possable to run 250 watt bulbs with a 400 watt ballest looking for idea's into solving this problem.

Good morning I have a berlin skimmer for sale. Its a older model x2. can be used as a hang on or in tank. needs to be cleaned. no pump. good up to 250 gal. but I think more like 100 or less I like 20 dollars or trade for corals

These 2 guys are a credit to our hobby. they bought a hole sale store and opened it up to the public. They have been working on the store and the tank displays in to the late night every night. and there hard work shows. My wife told me that she thinks its the best looking store she has been in. And I can say that you cant beat there prices. I just bought some lights that would have cost me twice the price at another store. with the great fish, corals and prices these guys are heading for the top. THANK YOU GUYS

the thing about using a inverter is that you may need one that puts out at lease 1200 watts and thats for a small system. just one heater can burn up 350 watts add your lights, pumps, and other things and your wattage is up there. the other thing to is that if you have a mag start motor on your pumps most of your cheeper inverters will not run them. you will need a true synwave inverter with at least 1500-2500 watt plus a 500 watt surge over that. if you plan on hooking this up to your car it will draw your batt. down in as little as one hr. I say forget the inverter and go to harbor freght and buy a little gen. they have a nice little one for under 100 dollars. that will run a pump and heater

well there are 3 great things going on here. 1- you pick a great looking yuma. 2- you got Beth into at least one yuma. and 3- you take a great looking picture

Sorry for your lost. One of the rules of thumb is to is to start out with a cheeper break in fish. A good break in fish is a green chromis or yellowtail blue damselfish. these fish will help break in your tank and are cheeper like around 5.00 dollars each. the other thing is you should cycle your tank for closer to 3 months before adding fish. do you have live sand and live rock. the cycling takes time its all part of the ECO system in your tank. and if you have any questions just ask. there are a lot of great people here that can help you.

I just bought these corals and others from richard last night should have them tomorrow. I sure hope they live and grow. just setting up the frag tank today been working on it for a week now.
