  1. I set up a 45 that I had pick up used sunday and after 24 hrs of running it came up with a small leak around the bottom. so I tore it down and resealed it. then yesterday my wife put some corals into my frag still in there bags and left to go down town. I was out side on the tractor spreading rock on the driveway about 20 min later I went into the house to find a water fall coming out of my frag tank. the bag had made its way to the over flow return and plug it. 20 est. gal. of water on the living room rug. 4 hr later working with the shop vac. and all night with a box fan and its still not dry. now I have brought in my propane heater to help dry the rug. might be dry in 3 days. bags are gone corals look good and 45 is leak free. things are looking up. Thank God.

  2. my 180 and the frag tank would be ok but the other 6 tanks no way. also live on the side of a canyon over look the clackamas river. we already lost 300 + sq yards land 2 years ago. so if the soil wet when the quake happens then the house will be floating down the river.

  3. I have my sump set up as a eco system with sand coral live rock and lots of plants/alge also a clean up crew. it works good for me. its also a good place to raise copepods. they seed the 180 gal and the 50 gal frag tanks through the pumps.

  4. Good morning and welcome to the form. Addicting what do you mean. I only have 9 running aquariums and if I move the kitchen table out I will have room for another 3-4 in that room and then theres my wife craft/crap room ? no addiction here LOL.

  5. great looking fish I bet they look sweet in your tank. I had a potters and we name him harry. but he disappered about 6 months ago. I just set up a 45 gal yesterday and after seeing yours I may have to pick one up again.
