-
I pick up a pink yuma from Grassi today but its still to small

I built my stand for my 180. The tank is 24 tall and with the hight over all its a pain in the a--. I cant reach the bottom. if I have to rearange things the hood can only be tilted up about 10 inches. A shorter tank could have made things alot easyer to work on.

PM sent for the old 400 watt light system

I will take fred and the spoted goby and the 150 m/l lights system if you still have them

Maybe Im wrong but adding that much phyto to your tank every week will raise your phosphates. This would just be a guess in saying this as i dont know for sure' date=' Hey what do I know maybe you can add enough phosphate remover to counter act this. I would like to know what everyone else has to say about this.[/quote']
When I ordered my supplies from FL. aqua farms I ask them about that. and they said there was no problem in adding the phyto straight to my system. I ask about there fertalizer and the efect on my corals and fish. and there answer was it wont heart them at all. if my phosphates do go up then I will start doing the water changes again.

I was just wondering if any one else is growing these. I have just started to grow these little guys and with the cost I should have done it a long time ago. I am growing the phyto in 5 gal. water jugs. I will be adding two 5 gal. jugs each week to my reef system. I am also hoping that this will also take the place of my reg. water changes each week. I am also hatching the brine shrimp in a 5 gal jug once every 3 days. as for the roties and copepods those will be in a 55 gal tank that I am just setting up. the cost for everthing was under 100 dollars. That price also included the one year supply of brine shrimp eggs { cysts } and the phyto. from Fl. aqua farms. Well I guest time will tell if I made the right choice. Please let me know what you think.
