LOL don't do it bro. That's all I can say. You get what you pay for. I paid for the worst cyano explosion I have ever seen. I bought 2 of them, they were 2 different colors one may have been 10k and the other one I would guess around 6k. I had to clean my glass of nastiness 2 times per day while I had these running. Not a good investment at all. If you are going to do that, you may as well slap a few 100 watt incandescents up in a canopy and call it good. Just my .02 from experience

if your tank is only 18 inches tall I would go with the 3 175 watt mh or go with 6 bulb tek. don't worry about wattage on those bad boys. You will be fine

dude, dirty water is fine for lps and the such. zoas and other softies. If you tried any sps mainly acro for long term like that, you would have just brown sticks if not really really white ones

So we have water in it now. I just filled it up with tap water, kicked the pump on. I wasn't too sure if the overflow was going to be able to handle the return but it works great. Next will be draining, cleaning, and filling up with ro water.
