  1. I had a goby I had to feed. I would feed the others till they were done, not that they were ever done, then I would spot feed him like I did for the corals with a baster. I tried to slowly move further and further from him with the food to train him but he didn't care. I just had to make sure that the food came to him.

  2. That is so crazy! I'm amazed that you can cut these guys like that. I am absolutely fascinated by the cutting the RBTA's on here. I've just never "reefed" like that though. I'm going to have so many mushrooms if I can get this to work though!!! WOW!!!

  3. That would be great! I'm not ready for a few weeks anyways. I want to get everything just right before I start any large scale stocking! The water is looking great. I want to get some new test kits to make sure. (Making my lists and checking it twice for that LFS shopping day ) Do another BIG water change just to be safe. And replace the last few bulbs I don't know dates on. After I know the tank is thriving I'd love to talk to you about these. The corals have grown already in just 6 weeks so I think another 4 and well be good.

I had always been affraid of anemones cause they move but the RBTA sounds amazing. This time I'm going a whole new route. I love this forum cause you get more than one opinion vs. reading online from someone who probably never had a tank even :) I really appriciate seeing your pictures splitting them! and being able to talk to the person doing it is even better!

  4. I don't have much that he'd probably like to eat I hope. I stuck one in there but there is so many aptasia he'll never do much good alone. I'm scared of the Aptasia X cause I'm scared of doing anything to the tank I don't "know" about but I think it's a good time to experiment while the tank isn't stocked.... maybe. I've already got some great advise off of here about so many of my questions. I'm going to try and remove and glue a bunch of mushrooms and got great advise off here so I think I can try this too!

  5. Another lump of dumb questions here.... Do you do this in a tub of the tank water?

    or dry?

Will just any super glue gel work or is there a particular one?

Does it work with water? Seems like superglue gets hot in water or something along those lines?

Do you have to do anything special before putting newly glued pieces back into the tank?

    THANK YOU!!!!

  6. These are cool snails. I had a few and my son thought they were great cause the looked like ninja stars. Added a great look to the tank and great cleaners. I can't remember if the could flip but seems like not... thank you for that link. These guys will be part of the refurbish!

  7. Maybe this isn't a flame scallop then. I use to have one. I thought it was on this rock cause it use to have a fabulous leather on it :( Everything else died I can't imagine something hard to keep alive. Do you know what it looks like? Hard to envision a scallop without it tentacles though..... It opens up amazingly and if it is the one i had it has been there for years!

  8. GREAT! ;) My poor tank. The only aptasia left is so close to corals. That's why I haven't cut them off. I had one on my maxima that was causing him not to open up and was able to get it off as well as many others in various spots. Well I guess that I found a solution on how to thin out the mushrooms on that rock .... if it's not one thing with reefs it's another huh! That's why I love them I guess!!!
