Thanks all it’s good to be back, kinda weird to start all over but we have a great fish community here. Big thanks to Jeff and Brian again, those guys will take care of you all the time. 

New tank in place, power run. Worked coupe days to get my rock work in place, and finally adding water.

Well it’s been four years since I took down my 300gal in wall system due to moving to a new house. It was a nice long break to have. My best bud Brian (reef box) trying to reel me back into the hobby for some time and Jeff (cuttlefish and corals) giving me a a killer deal on a brand new Redsea peninsula 500, I got my hands wet again. 

First of I literally  had to move part of a wall to make room for a tank. Rip floor apart and re tile to match the rest. Then my wife changed the location of tank just a bit. Lol

You will be fine with extending the  cord five more feet, just make sure to size your wire correctly. That little thing is ferrite which is a paramagnetic material. A ferrite bead with a conductor through it is an inductor and so is used as a low pass filter. Typical use is for power cables to reduce electromagnetic interference.

But is it gluten free? 😆
