  1. Wow thats pretty sweet!!! It will probably have a high cost due to the energy savings and the bulb life.
  2. no problem, lets see some pics when your done.
  3. I think this chart on the gravity flow column would be relative to the pipe compleately full without air, like a siphon. That might be able to give you a idea, with an absolute max flow rate. http://www.flexpvc.com/WaterFlowBasedOnPipeSize.shtml
  4. hope this helps If you dont put an air intake on the back top side of the plmbing it will creat a siphon and rise and lower over and over. If you build it like a durso on the outside of your tank it will depend on the size of air hole you drill in the top cap.
  5. Bump, Edit added to the post, advice
  6. Is there anyone that has a 45 mm (1 3/4 inch) glass cutting hole saw, that I could use? I have one hole to put in a 20 gal tank, and my saw is too worn out and broke the last tank i tried to drill. If needed i could bring the tank to the drill, or borrow the drill. I could use some ideas for other ways to get my tank drilled without buying a holesaw, maybe a LFS that has one or something. Thanks

  11. First Visit, and not the last! I went to Davy Jones Locker yesterday with my friend. It was the first time we had been there and met Bob, we both liked the store. He got a pump and I got a nice Pink and Blue Watchman Goby. The goby is now checking out my tank and seems to be doing well. Bob was helpful and good company, I'm sure both of us will be back. Thanks Bob.

  14. thanks both for response, still would like to hear others thoughts. anyone know where online to get a duel DI system without RO. cus all i could find said it was for adding to RO unit? Like this one. Could it be set up to run by its self? http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/RO/DI-Filters-&-Systems-RO/DI-Systems/c9_10/p44/Dual-Deionization-Resin-Canisters/product_info.html
  15. I don't have any type right now i just want to see what you guys think about RO units wasting 75 to 95 gallons of water to make 5 gallons pure? and how much does that add to your water bill using all that extra water? When I'm ready to set up a filter unit why not use just a duel DI unit? I would like to here your experience.
