Typically something you would have to dose for. Most salt mixes dont have a high enough Mg content to keep it where you want. When I mix a batch of saltwater at 1.025 my Mg is 1200, so I add Mg Sulfate that I got at BRS. They have a calcuater so it tells you exactly how much to add to get to the level you want based on your voume of water-(rock2) I shoot for 1400 MG

Do you also have a tyree undata? I currently have a piece but want one for another rock-they grow SLOW-LOL LMK Eric get back to me, Michael says interested I say sold no pic needed. Safety was my concern, unless you had some serious lag bolts which I could not tell from the photo, its only 30 gallons but at 8+ lbs per gallon, I'm not trusting any "screw" Just something about building it yourself. That about sums that up. RBTA takes out the dreaded Hydno-:eek:-Freakin game over I had to get rid of my RBTA, actually both of them, it split. I think the wife is still sad about that, the lonely clown fish she says- My issue with the RBTA was when it decided to move and just would put its foot over what ever was in its path. As I understand the lighting is for your pleasure-long photo periods will add to algae growth-myself I ran the lights about 4 hours a day, and that is because I used live fish to cycle my tank-never new of the deli shrimp method. I have not voted either-a surprise to some perhaps, but someone sent me a link that had it, and I was curios as to how our local demographics felt.
