i dont love the idea of shiiping there is a lot of factors. who knows if a package sent to eugene will be treated as well and arive in a timely fashion compards to some one in washington who might get it deliverd perfectly. a polyp closed for a long time or possbly not making it due to shipping could have a big effect on how fast you can grow it out.

i like that the entry fee will be dependant on if you are a member or a non member even know this contest isnt being held put on or etc etc etc...by the club(scratch)

i already have an idea for the next event. a monti or a acro all the same size. who can get the most encrusting and growth. that would be a sweet one!

thats a great idea. i agree its real easy to do single polyps of palys.mabey we could frag the paly at some sort of get tpgether event and all who enter the competition can take there palys home that day. that way they wont be sitting there fragged and some already sprouting new polyps over a weeks time or how ever long before someone picks them up.

this could be fun!i think miles could win, he grows zoas like weeds

believe it or not my girlfriend had a 10 gallon nano a million years ago before we got together and before the whole nano craze really took of. about 2 years ago she was talking about it and me thinking it was stupid started looking on liveaquaria then looking in stores. prob a month later i got a 5 gallon with a brakish puffer,he died so i turned it into a saltwater.

needles to say that lasted about a month then i got the 40b.....

bet she regreats ever introducing me to this crack habbit though(whistle)

CA2OR, I think I have the pump figured out. I am getting one from Briefcase, Kevin. It has to be a major pump since it is pumping about 14' of head at 1500gph.

picked a few zoas up from garrett today.really nice pieces,these 2 opened up after a few mins. waiting on the other 2 to open and will post em later.

this ones is a really cool morph!

see the tube going to it. it cuts wet. and has a diamond blade as well. its made for rocks and minerals.the base is plastic the main surface is aluminum. i dont think theres much there to rust.
