Maybe. Depends on how you set it up and the quality of the cam. It would be cool to just full screen some kick *** tank and watch it from the couch. If I had a big enough monitor, I could just avoid all the headaches and live vicariously through someone else

I read something about keeping my nitrates? lower. I have no fricking clue. I never paid attention to levels, but I've always had an issue with algae. I'll try changing the water a few times a week to see what happens.

Last night, my friends, I had a dream about aquariums. I was in "my" house, and saw a great looking aquarium that was apparently mine. The fish looked cool in there and I was very happy.(clap) But then it got bad. All of a sudden, there was another aquarium. Then there was this weird crab nest thing in the ejected dvd drive of a computer, with a little mud walkway to another tank.(nutty) Everything just became overwhelming. I freaked out!:eek: Why am I dreaming about aquariums, and has anyone else done this? I think I'm stressing out because I have a hair algae growth problem and don't know what to do.(scary)(scary)

That reminds me of War of the Worlds or something.

I was at the game last night, and Oden had fire in his eyes. Great game all around.

I might have to get more sand. The rock below is being exposed below it. It does look kinda cool having the different stuff visible. Maybe I'll just keep it. The water is a lot clearer now and the structure on the right collapsed, probably from my stupid pleco.

There it is. The sand is still settling, so the water looks a little cloudy............or foggy like the weather. It's a big improvement from the former setup. Now I want more fish! Did I mention that I got the rocks for free? They were in the scrap section. If I had gone to a LFS, that stuff would've been like $40.

I got them in the place on 99e, which I guess could be considered Portland Rd. It's the place by the Firehouse

Well I've added a new base of rock on the bottom,covered it with black sand and added some new silk plants. I'm just waiting to hear from one of the science teachers about the flat rocks to add them and the fish.

I'm running them now, but won't the soap leave a residue? Just kidding, I'm not that dumb. I'm just paranoid about the rock. I don't know why.

Are these rocks ok to use? The guy at the rock place said they were quartz rocks. I think they look good, but I just don't want to poison my guys with metal.

I don't have any plants ATM.
