I have 6 white food grade barrels that I would like to get rid of. They need to be rinsed out, but are clean and only used for food.
Free to anyone willing to drive to Washougal to get em.

My guess is that it's probably 60-70lbs dry...
I am in Washougal.
As of now, Higher Thinking has dibs and we are supposed to meet tomorrow. If it falls through I will update the thread.
Thanks!

The original pump was an OTP-2000. I am not sure what the specs are.

I have a reef octopus skimmer body and cup. No pump.
I believe that the model is DNW-250

I am guessing that you'd need this one for all three
- 11″ by 8 ½” by 5 ½” Medium Box — $10.95
One might get into this one
- 8 5/8″ by 5 3/8″ by 1 5/8″ Small Box — $5.20 or even
- 12 ½” by 9 ½” Padded Envelope — $4.95

I am in Washougal. I'd be happy to ship them up to you in a flat rate box as long as postage was paid. The longest one is only a bit over a foot, if I recall, so they should fit into one of those boxes with ease.
The solenoid is great, because you can use it in so many ways. I had mine hooked up to a second high water level single switch that was set above the dual switch. But, I have seen others who put theirs on a timer so that no matter what the top off system can only operate for a small window out of each day.

Selling all of my auto top off systems. I have three, all are in good, working condition. They worked great with no issues or failures.
Two are single switch sump mount systems. They are $39 each new from autotopoff.com. Selling for $15 each.
I also have one dual switch (shuts off if water get too high or too low). Its $50 online. Selling for $20.
Lastly, I have a solenoid (valve that only opens when there is power). I used this a redundancy along with the other systems. $25 online. Selling mine for $10.

I actually never got around to tearing the rest down and letting it dry out. Ended up with some sick kids that weekend and couldn't do it. I will be around a bit later if you want to come by. I will call you.
Thanks,
Neil

Regarding specifically your thread from the 24th not being closed, who did you ask to close it? I don't have any PM's or notifications from you. If I had I would have written and told you that we are no longer closing threads for those reasons. Your thread is a perfect example of one of the reasons not to. You posted the fish were sold, and the thread died. No one has posted in it since. The matter closes itself. Let's use your thread as an example again, and just pretend for a minute that maybe the one you sold the fish to wanted to come back on and say thank you, and they are doing well. Should they not be able to do that? There is no harm in it that we have seen since the change over.
I didn't ask a specific MOD to close the thread. I just posted that the fish were sold and asked the MODS to please close. This has worked in other forums and even this one before the changes. But in the end, it's not a big deal.
Fish are sold. Thanks OIAB!
MODS- Thread can be closed.
I do see your point regarding allowing someone to follow up in the thread etc. That makes enough sense to me.
I guess I am still hung up on the loss of the editing function. In my other for sale thread, I still have people PM me and ask for things that are sold because its just too cumbersome to read the the whole thread to find out. I get that some people have used the edit function incorrectly, and see the point that it can cause more trouble than good, but I do wish it were back for the sake of cleaning up the classifieds. Ohh well, I can live with it as is.

Hmm...looks familiar. ☺️
I can attest to how nice this system is since it used to be mine. ????
Good luck with the sale - someone is going to score a sweet setup.
