  1. Well, somebody has to get in it to put the rock in place, LOL
  2. Thats what I said too when I saw it. Was freakin out all day.
  3. Oh, and the tank came today. Took 10 people and some furniture dollys, but it got in without a scratch. Enjoy the photos.
  4. Got my emergency overflow plumbed Pumps hooked up UV Plumbed
  5. I have heard the Achilles is one of the most if not the most difficult Tang to keep. I would love a Tri-Color Tang or even maybe a Black Tang.

  7. Yes, water goes over the top and down through the socks. I will have filter pad over the first 6 socks and I believe that should help spread the water out over all the socks. But, also, if the first couple of socks get clogged up (if I am out of town or overly busy and can't change them quick enough) then the water will continue to move onto other socks. If they all get clogged (hopefully never) then the water will just flow over the top and into the next chamber that contains the Protein Skimmer.
  8. Mounted my 120w Aqua UV Sterilizer Also mounted the 4" drain pipe. The overflows have six 1-1/2" drains that can handle up to 12,600gph, and they all drain into the 4" pipe that can handle up to 14,400gph. But, at the moment I will be running a Reeflo Hammerhead that should max at around 5,000gph after head pressure, but I can in the future hook up a second if I wish and still have a buffer zone. The 4" drains into the start of my sump system.
  9. Thinking about 300 - Blue Leg Reef Hermits 30 - Scarlet Reef Hermits 20 - Emerald Crabs 10 - Turbo Snails 200 - Cerith Snails 20 - Peppermint Shrimp 5 - Blood Red Fire Shrimp 10 - Cleaner Shrimp 3 - Banded Coral Shrimp 8 - Sand Sifting Starfish 4 - Linkia Starfish 6 - Cucumbers 10 - Fighting Conchs 2 - Halloween Urchins 2 - Royal Urchins I am also thinking about a school of 50 Blue/Green Reef Chromis and possibly a school of 20 Anthias. Obviously there will be a lot of Tangs as the show point.
  10. Started to move some things in just to see how things are going to fit. From right to left - Kalk Reactor, Calcium Reactor, Ozone Reactor, Carbon Reactor for Ozone, Phosban Reactor, Carbon Reactor. Protein Skimmer in its 24"x24" enclosure, LOL, needs some cleaning though
  11. Definitely will. Let me know if you have a list in mind.
  12. I heard bumblebees could actually cause damage and similar with zebras I believe, maybe I heard wrong though.
  13. I really like the Halloween and Royal Urchins. Even had a Longspine once, but I am just too worry about getting hit.
  14. Never heard of butterscotch snails before. And I have never had any success with Nassarius. I noticed you added numbers next to my list, I have seen other people with similar size systems going with double, triple, or even more than those numbers.
  15. Here is something I could use help with - Cleaner Crew Stocking List - How many and what? Blue Leg Reef Hermits Turbo Snails Cerith Snails Peppermint Shrimp Cleaner Shrimp Banded Coral Shrimp Sand Sifting Starfish Linkia Starfish Tiger Tail or Sand Sifting Cucumbers Fighting Conchs Pinchushion Urchins
  16. Other end of the sump arrived. Got it put in place and put four 2" bulkheads between the two tanks. The ledge is for the media reactors. I will be running a Carbon Reactor, Phosban Reactor, Ozone Reactor, and Dual-Stage Calcium Reactor.
  17. I am supposed to get the new end part of the sump this weekend and then the main tank next week. More pics and the process of putting everything together as things move along.
  18. It will be running and it will be full of fish and coral, may not be great looking, but the system itself should be a site to see. I definitely plan on hosting the meeting again. Maybe by then I will know enough about the LED's that I could show off their abilities in a clinic format for those that aren't sure yet.
  19. I have heard mixed feelings, thoughts, and facts about with or without. I really like the fact that it can kill harmful bacteria, but I wonder if that outweighs the possible good bacteria it can kill. I've also heard that running it just during night can be more beneficial than all day. Just confusing.
  20. I am having a hard time deciding if I want to use U.V. again or not. I was thinking of running 120 watt Aqua U.V., but I can't say for sure if it helped or not on the previous tank. I tend to lean towards caution and am thinking it can't hurt. Any thoughts?
  21. I thought 6, then was like why not 9! LOL I really did laugh pretty hard about the Springfield Aquarium, I hope to have something everyone can enjoy. The pics don't do the rockwork justice, it really looks so much better in person, and I am blown away at how much room I have, it will probably change slightly when it finally gets in the tank.
  22. Thanks, it should be fun. By the way I just put up some tanks in the classified section, maybe making it easier for you to upgrade
