  1. Sorry my mailbox was full. I have created space. please PM me with interest. Clay, I am not sure you really want me to package them. I have never done that before and I want to make sure they arrive in good order. Jason7504, lets arrange pickup. Did you just want 1 head?
  2. PMs sent. thanks. more available for anyone else.
  3. I have a very Large Hammer coral (the size of a soccer ball) I need to trim back. It is green and purple (see picture). Heads are just $4. Many are splitting.
  4. I have plenty of mushrooms for someone to buy or trade. Only $2 per mushroom. For trade, I am looking for any other color mushrooms, Red is a plus, but anything stripped would be nice.
  5. My very large Red Bubble Tip Anenome (RBTA) split about 6 months ago and then those split again a couple of months ago, so now I have 4 and that is just way too many. I am asking only $40 for these medium sized (6" to 8") RBTA. Here are some pics. First come, first served....
  6. Aptasia X works. its just a long battle.
  7. My guess on naming the yellow fish: Midas Blenny
  8. (drooler) Yes, yes, tell me more downhillbiker
  9. "Because the Pac 10 is horrible for football." - not planning on making lots of friends aye? (censored) (nutty) Oh yeah, awesome growth for just 1 year.
  10. Several months ago, I had used some red slime remover and forgot to turn off my external skimmer. The skimmer went nuts and overflowed, dumping water into the stand. Luckily, the person who made the stand was experienced and had sealed the bottom of the stand so the water was 2 inches deep in the stand and had not leaked all over the house. Double lucky, I caught this just before I went to bed (1 AM) because I noticed the pump sounding a little different. Otherwise, this would have been really ugly. Now that I have an ATO, I will have to come up with a fail safe. I could drill a drain at the top of my skimmer cup which drains back into the sump. That way if the skimmer goes crazy for some reason, I am dumping skimmate back into the sump and not all over the floor. Sure, not ideal, but this would prevent the ATO from going into overdrive and the continues dumping of fresh water into the sump (lowering the salinity). Thanks Isaac for pointing that out. I never thought of that and this could save me big.
  11. its just the idea of cutting off a leg, throwing the leg in the tank, then putting the star fish back in the sump only to harvest another leg later on. I am usually not one to be sensative to this kind of thing, but can you imagine being harvested like that; sound morbid.
  12. Whoa, I had the exact same thing happen to me this weekend. I found the dried up guy last night after my girl mentioned she hadn't seen him in a couple of days.
  13. I saw some very nice, large pieces at Waves recently. You might want to check with them.
  14. Better than explain, let me show: http://www.sunlightsupply.com/aqua/products.aspx?request=AQUA_BW7&title=Ballasts&type=product PS - Sunlight supply provides outstanding customer service. I will always buy from them and I recommend them to everyone.
  15. Depending on your bio load, the 5gal a month could be sufficient. The temp you provided above, 77.5, I assume you answered the previous question that this is at the end of the light cycle, not first thing in the morning- please confirm. +1 for checking the refractor. I was having similiar issues earlier this year, found out my refractor was a little off and also added carbon to the mix. In a couple days, things were looking good. Someone else had mentioned that Carbon could have been helping with any chemical warfare the corals in my tank may have been participating in.
  16. I suspect this is a ploy to sell Aptasia X to any would be sellers. Dang, why didn't I think of that.
  17. If you are look for 2 double ended setups with a dual ballast, let me know. I was thinking about going with 400w myself (I have a deep tank), so I would need to find a home for the (2) 250w I have now.
  18. how about blocking the hole for a couple of days, getting him nice and hungry, then setting out the trap.
  19. We would like to buy a Desjardini tang - with a dark grey or purple tail, not yellow. I believe this is the distinguishing mark of the Red Sea version (but not sure). Please let me know if anyone has one. Thanks, Rugbyfish
  20. Doah............. missed out.
