Depending on your skimmer and/or amount of water changes you do, I would say a clown is ok. I think you need more cleanup crew, and that tank is probably too small for the mandarin.

Why don't some of us pool or money and bid on a few of the auctions that are currently up on Ebay. There are some cool corals and we could all have frags instead of bidding against each other. Just a thought.

I think that saying anything about "censorship" is irresponsible. Read the rules of admission to the site. The moderators have the right to close threads that are flaming and in that particular thread, there were people piling it on. The posts were not removed, that could and would be called censorship. You can still read the thread and I for one am glad that the moderators are taking a higher hand in moderating the site. I don't post very often, but I log on almost daily. The difference is easy to see. But, what really gets my goat here is that there are many folks who use the forum that are non paying members and they have the same rights as the paying members to post anything that they feel like posting. So, what really is the benefit of paying for a membership? I say, quit the complaining, tell your story and let it alone. We are all just reefers here, and the fact that we can spew politcal rhetoric around is way off the reason this site was founded. I think we should not allow any tyoe of political views to be posted on this forum. RC doesn't allow it, neither does TRT or the others.

I guess the point people are trying to make is that NW Plex has a reputation. They make an inferior product, and you trying to charge retail prices for CRAP puts a bad taste in a LOT of people's mouths. I have seen their handiwork in person, and would never buy anything made by them. The sumps are crap, the skimmers are crap, and the tanks are really crap.

I'm putting together a new large system and want to keep some higher end fish. My question to the LFS around is this: Do you medicate your store tanks with copper or any other type of medication? Feel free to explain why or why not. Thanks

Was this tank built by the same "craftsman" that built the 4 foot x 4 foot tank that fell apart at SWF a couple of years ago? What's the guarantee on it???? Oh, and I agree with Kruxy here, this qualifies as a commercial post and should be deleted.

I agree with Isaac. You shouldn't sell to retail customers and wholesale customers in the same market. I think it will alienate your customers. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth and hopefully there are others who feel the same way. It is difficult enough to make ends meet as a LFS, so for a wholesaler to come into direct competetion with them is not good business. We have all looked at the nice corals at OIAB, and a lot of us have some of his corals in our systems. Can't we leave the retail selling to the LFS and wholesaling to the wholesalers???
