  1. alright... first person with 800 takes EVERYTHING. I just spent 500.00 on the new aquarium and plumbing. And there is 500.00 dollars in live rock.
  2. OK, I need this out of the house. So make me an offer. who knows what I might take. Here are some pics. These are just ruff pics. The tank is much nicer. Thanks
  3. the best I can do is 1100.00 or it is possible I can break in up but all the fish would have to go first. Being that I am in southern Oregon maybe a few of you northen guys can get together and part it out. I just found out my racks will be here saturday. I am also down for trades of some cool things. lets work it out. thanks
  4. Well I have had a great time in the hobby. But it is time to get out. I am selling everything as one huge lot. I will not ship. I don't have the time to package and ship (heck.. thats why I am gettingout of the hobby. No time.) I live in Southern Oregon (Grants Pass, 97527). I think you will find that the price I am asking is so good, it would make sense for somebody from Seattle to San Fran to come and pic this up and still get a great deal. This is a complete turn-key 90 gallon aquarium. I am also including another 90 gallon tank with tons of other parts that would almost make another complete 90 gallon setup. I am going to list all the goodies below. Please pm me and I will get you pics. Please don't waste my or your time if you are not serious. I take paypal and cash. If you have any questions please pm me. I am sure I will forget something because there is tons of good stuff. ok here we go. The running 90 gallon: -90 gallon Perfecto Corner flow aquarium (48x18x24) 2 weeks old -matching black stand and canopy -custom sump with refuge (aprox 30 gallons or so) -Hamilton Lights Deluxe hood 2x250 MH and 2x40 NO -Mag drive 9 return pump -Octopus 150 skimmer - aprox. 100-110 ponds of very live rock (tons of color and life) -100 ponds of #1 live sand Corals: -a big flower pot -a huge green brain -aprox. 6 inch ancor coral non-branching (my favorite) -Grapefruit sized frog spawn -a huge finger leather - baseball sized Hulk Green zoo rock - dinner plate sized LTA (beautiful colors) - a couple acro. frags and a small colony of the same acro. Fish: -a mated and spawning pair of maroon clowns. The female is aprox. 3.5 inches and the male is a bit smaller. Like I said they are a proven spawning pair with some huge clutches. (I can provide pics of the eggs). -5-6 inch Sailfin Tang (beautiful fish) -3 inch Scopos Tang -3 inch Niger Trigger (doesn't bother any of the corals) -3 inch Bi-Color Blenny -2 inch Sixline Wrasse (another beautiful fish) -1-1.5 inch clown gobby -50 or so snails -60 or so hermit crabs Note on the above setup: Like I mentioned earlier this is a turn-key setup. The tank is currently running and doing great. All the fish are little pigs. One thing I should mention is for whatever reason my ballast to my MH and my NO trip my GFCI breaker. So I have them ran on a non-gfci outlet and work great. I have ran my lights this way for almost 2 years with no problems. I just want to be upfront about this. I have had an electrician come over and try to figure it out. He told me the gfci is wired fine and the lights seem to be wired fine as well. He also mentions that sometimes gfci can be sensitive. But again, I have not had a single problem with them. The light setup is a bit old. So maybe a new setup in the future might not be a bad idea. The lights are 10k Ishio. They are only 6 months old and the same with the atinic bulbs (6 months old). The sump, return pump, skimmer are all about 1 year old. I originaly ran a canister filter when I started than upgraded to the sump setup. Below is other goodies that come with the setup. -90 gallon aquarium (not drilled, I used an overflow box) Great condition but needs to be cleaned -Overflow box (rated at 1200 gph) -Pondmaster 12 return pump (only used a couple weeks) -Filter Guys reef +2 RODI Unit (great unit) (aprox 4 months old) Still has tons of life of the filters -almost new 33 gallon Brute trash can -Assorted heaters and airpumps and fish food -Brand new bottle of Instant Algae (cost me 70.00) Well I think that is about it. If I remember anything I will update. But I am sure thats all. Please pm any questions. I think 1800.00 is a very fair price. Especialy since I just spent 500 on a new aquarium and plumbing 2 weeks ago. Plus 250ish for the RODI unit. Also the possibilities with the Maroons babies if thats what your into. I am not firm on price but I think its a fair price. Lets talk. I need to get this out of my house. I am expecting my leopard gecko breeding racks to be finished anyday and need the space. oh and I am also into maybe a partial trade with leopard geckos or breeding racks. I am sorry for the bad spelling. I am just tired. Thanks kenesterline@gmail.com
  5. yeah it was a member... i just ordered my aquapod24. should be fun
  6. here are some pics. i will take 1200, and i am firm with that, remember this is a turn key setup. the tank, hood and stand were 1200. so you basicaly get 600 dollar mh's, 500 dollar in live rock, 250 dollar sump/refuge, 150 dollar skimmer, 125 wave maker set up with 3 mj1200. plus more for free. anyways thanks for the look.
  7. well i just got offered a great deal on that nano tank i was talking about that i wanted. i will take 1300 firm for everything i mentioned above minus the fish. please pm me with any serious offers. again, this stuff is only 3 months old and in perfect condition.thanks
  8. yeh, like i said, i am not going to cut my throat on it. i figure 1500 or so is not that bad. heck, i have almost 500.00 dollars in live rock. plus 600 dollars in 2 month old mh setup. but we will see. i just want one of those aquapod 24 gallon all in one nano tanks. any serious offers. cash always talks.
  9. i will see if i can't get the bikini shot next to the tank...
  10. yeah but shes hot!!!, but really the landlord is not happy about it either. he wants me to pay 25 dollars a month for "insurance". but he said i could go smaller and that would be fine. we will see.
  11. oh and it also has 3 mj1200 ph's on a wave maker.
  12. well i am thinking of selling of my complete 80 gallon setup because i don't have the time for it. plus the girlfriend thinks it takes up to much space. so i am thinking of getting one of those all in one nano tanks. everything here is no more than 3 months old. i have over 3500 invested with livestock. this setup is in almost perfect condition. i am looking to get 1800 obo. pickup only.this is what i have 80 galloon rr bowfront with with side overflow (back painted black) (great condition) matching hood and stand (also black) (i paid 1200 for the tank, stand, and canopy) sump w/refuge (aprox. 30 gallons) mag 9.5 return pump octopus skimmer 3 heaters (different watts and makes) aprox 100 pounds of live rock aprox 90 pounds of sand 2x250 pfo mh balist 2x250 mh xm 15k's fish 2 black and white percs (awesome pair) (apox 2.5 inches) 1 purple fire fish 1 purple tang 1 blue line tang 1 kole tang (all 3 tangs are 3.5-4 inches) again all this stuff is in great condition. i would consider a partial trade if you have a nano (29 gallon) with all the goodies. for now, this will be a complete deal. i might break it up down the road, but not now. i live in southern oregon. i will get some pics up if anybody is interested. again the price is not firm, but i am not going to lose my butt on this either. thanks
  13. i am bothered by these topics..... because now I want one. were did you the cheapest price at for the aquapod. thanks
  14. first i want to say that i am sorry for starting another about this. i just wanted to make sure that everybody read this thread because there has been a new twist added to my problem. well as most remember, i some how got a tiny bit of copper in my tank. i had to told my best bet is to brteak down my tank and replace all my sand and live rock. well i decided i would do just that. so today i started my long and expensive project. so i set up a 30 gallon tank for my live stock. when i set it up, i used my main tank water, sand , and live rock because my live stock would be used to this water. so after i got my 30 gallon up and running with the water, sand and live rock, i added my livestock. they are doing awesome. after i got that going, i ran by the lfs to say hi. before i left, i was thinking i should get a snail for giggles to see if it would survive in the 30 gallon. for those who have not ready my previous post, i could not keep snails alive. so i got home and added the snail. and you guessed it. its doing great and has been in there for 4 hours. before they would not last and hour in my main tank. but the kicker is, again, i used all my main tank stuff. nothing different. i am so confused now. man, what am i going to do...
  15. se thats my concern. its says a "high lever of copper". again, i have only a hint of it. and like i said before, the only way to tell it had any blue was to compare my copper test and my lfs copper level. barely and blue on mine. infact 1 of the 3 people looking at my test said he did not see any color change. he said it looked crystal clear to him. i do have some nitrates (if i remember correctly, it was aroun 20). i have decided to do some water changes and not yet change my rock and substrate. in fact i have cosidered keeping this a FO tank. i plane on getting a new set up this spring. we will see. thanks to all
  16. i agree that the drip system is better. but out of aprox. 100 snails, not one has lasted more than an hour. you would think that is the acclimation was the problem, that atleast one would last. besides, my lfs does the cup method with these same snails, and they all do great. i will be doing the drip method from here on oujt, but i highly dought that is 100% the problem. trust me, i don't want to drop all this money either. but the only conclusion i can come up with is that this tiny bit of copper is the culpret...
  17. i have not dumoed lfs water in my tank. i have not done the drip method on the snails, but i do the cup method..
  18. whats your thoughts on plumbing. should i replace all my plumbing (bulkheads, and pipes) to be safe. i just want to cover all my bases
  19. i have added 2 shrimp over the past couple months and they both died within 2 days. one was a cleaner shrimp and the other was a fire shrimp. i have been trying to figure this out for 2 months. i have posted tons of threads on many boards. but no answers have helped. i have been told that hermit crabs are a bit hardier than snails and shrimp. thats why they are fine. again there was only a tiny tiny tiny trace of copper?
  20. i am useing coralife (you know the one with the free shirt). i will check my ro water. thanks
  21. thats the kicker, i have hermit crabs that have been in my tank for months and they are doing great. but snails only last about an hour or so in the main tank, than they close up and will go into some form of shock.
  22. thanks. that is great news. i have never had a man make me smile like i am now. hopefuly the girlfriend doesn't see my smile...
  23. well to be honest, i was looking for a reason to get new sand. i have sugar sized sand now, and i don't like it. so if i am going to remove the rock, i am going to do the sand as well. so you are saying that i can keep all my equipment including my tank and i will be able to do a reef tank as long as i get new rock and sand. again, i have heard people say once copper gets in there, your tank is jumk. but i have also heard that is not true as lone as i address my rock and sand and do a deep cleaning with vinager/water. thanks to all and the local reefboy.
