Been using the frag plugs for over 3 years now.

I have a kilm and i have made rock with clay and fired it. U can get some cool shapes but in the long run I like dsoz rock better. I problem with the fired rock is it hard to keep the shapes the same thickness roughly. You can not have a piece 2 inches thick in the kilm as it will explode because the middle woulnt dry=big mess. It works great for frag plugs and small rock things .

Rudys frags are by far the biggest of any auction or lfs in the area. When he says 2" it seems to always be 3"

You get what you pay for in bulbs. Most cheap bulbs work well for the first one-two months but then have a huge drop in par and spectrum. I have run both . Biggest problem with cheapys is the consistancy. One bulb great color next is a algea farm grower.

I agree with Shaun. It is amazing how fast a clam will die . Not from Shimp and snail and fish. These things may irritate a clam and keep it from fully opening over a long period , eventally dying but a fast kill is something different. My experience Clam eating Flat worm. Killed 2 of my clams in under 3 hours.
