  1. I have dreamed that I completely forgot a tank that I have set up somewhere, and when I do go look at it.. theres all kinds of really cool angels in the tank, but there all have dead.

I usually dream that my tank has sprung a super bad leak, I wake up and have to go check on my tank.

  2. Aaawww.. I love baby clown triggers. Love to watch them get there adult colors/markings. I would have one in my tank, but I decided just the niger trigger is enough for triggers. But you know... your making me think twice. (I dont do that often LOL)

You just cant beat the markings of these cool fish.

Cant wait to see a picture of the little bugger.

  3. OMG.. that brings back memories. I used to use dead coral decorations in my first tanks too. Still have boxes of the corals in the basement.

It was so hard at first to switch out the pretty coral decorations for the live rock. I hated how it looked. But I got use to it. I sure dont have the colors I used to have. Can only have mostly softies. I guess I can say my colors are in my fish.

  4. I used to have a lawnmower blenny that had a complete cow when I tried to add a midas blenny. I could never catch the little guy and the lawnmower ended up killing him. I had the lawnmower in the tank for a quite awhile, very peaceful toward other fish though.

I just got a watchman goby, he is pretty interesting too.

  5. Congrats!!

Our daughter had our grandson on Feb. 6th, he was due on Mar. 29th. He was a premie, all is well now. He will grow up knowing alot about Grandma's fish tank just like hes big sister.

    Congrats!!

  6. Awww.. so thats what those are called. Love the blue and yellow on him.

Its really great that he is picking at the rocks already. He will keep any algae in check.

  7. Wow! That is pretty!

I should get some of that.. maybe my fish would leave it alone. I have something similar, dont know the name of it though. I know it started with a 'S' though LOL.

  8. I just love the star polyps I got from you. Love the colors and the movement it has. My husband loves the niger trigger, he has so much personality.

I love the fish only section on Reef Central. Love the large tank section too. Love to see pictures of all the construction for the build ins.

Im with your wife, on corals are boring, but Im sure if I had them where I could watch the growth on them, I would love it.

Never seen a white cheek tang, or maybe I have, and didnt know the name of them. I love how tangs are always swimming back and forth.

I think there should be a FOWLR section on this forum. Probably wouldnt get much traffic, but it still would be cool.

  9. Im half thinking of setting up a small tank in our home office for things I cant have in my big tank. Soon as I figure out where to move this edge tank to that I got for Christmas, I will probably set up maybe a 20 gallon in its place. I have a orbit light that I had set up over a 10 gallon, will have to see if I can fit it over a 20 gallon.

Your sure right about not having to worry about the corals killing each other. I hate when I get a new fish I have to worry about it for a few days. Getting up in the middle of the night to see how its doing and all. LOL

Thats so cool you are setting up a FOWLR. You still can have alot of things in with them. My angels leave alone frogspawn, torches, hammers, leathers, kenya trees, green hairy mushrooms and star polyps. Some one told me I could try bubble coral too.

  10. I wash mine in the washer with about 1/2 cup of bleach. Then wash again. They are then air dried up on a shelf.

Saw on another forum to watch out for the clorox bleach that says something like no splash or splash guard. I guess it has some kind of detergent in it. Makes your protein skimmer go crazy too.

  11. Just like a nano reef, its packed full of all kinds of things just like the bigger tanks are but on a smaller scale.

I have only seen Twitterbaits name on this forum, funny always thought it was a girl. Of course Im sure everyone else knew that its a guy LOL. Super nice guy at that too.

I guess I just missed a very nice large queen angel that they had. Where are all these people that buy these nonreef fish? Never hear about them on here.

If your into damsels, he sure had alot to chose from too. I got two little ones (dont remember the names) for my tank. The blue ones with the bottom half yellow. Best prices on them too.

All his prices were great. It has been awhile that I have just stood around with others and talked tanks. Very nice.

Im never a big spender, wish my pockets were as big as my mouth LOL. I would be rich.

Nice meeting everyone there, glad I went to check them out.
