I need a good vet that will possibly take payments....anyone know any? my wifes little dog is having issues with his back and it may be something serious which we cant afford (surgery) or something simpler like some steroids and pain meds.
Preferrably in the mid valley area (albany/corvallis) but at this point willing to go almost anywhere to help the little guy. thanks in advance for any help.

yellow makes more sense since it IS the ducks! lol. blacks not even in our color scheme. well... at least its not supposed to be. but the fashion divas at Nike keep cranking out funky stuff for the team. I will admit that I like the black helmets.

why not just look into a secondary timer that has the little battery backup built in.

it would work. depends on the reflector you use for the MH is the key. you want a wider spread pattern to maximize your Mh coverage. otherwise you would end up with a broght spot in the middle.

So I have a 60 cobe that I am going to be setting back up in the next few months and am unsure of my lighting because of the 24" depth.....
I was running 2 sets of 24" T-5's with ind. reflectors. they are the tek knockoffs that hello lights clearanced out last year. workhorse 5 ballasts. good deal for what they were but thinking if I want to continue to use them i need to upgrade to some icecap ballasts.
I am not sure if I want to use these again or maybe sell them off and get a 250w MH DE pendant with t-5 supplements.
I want to keep mostly softies since I love the movement and possibly a clam or two. had clams before and loved the colors but they were under a MH in my biocube. I dont want to limit myself If i decide to get some SPS in the future tho. Gonna drill the tank thru the bottom and back for a closed loop when I set it up again as well. i will add a pic to show what I am working with.
any comments or suggestions?

I think the club DOES have the right to ask someone to remove something from thier sig, avatar, etc.
I think he overreacted a bit to it and that is the reason for the ban imo. As far as the stuff that he claims to be offensive in the out of bounds section, thats the reason its called the out of bounds section. There are a couple of jokes in the jokes thread that are middle eastern oriented and are probably off color/bad taste. I have posted a couple of jokes in that thread but they arent racist to the best of my knowledge. I have a bunch of jokes that I know would offend quite a few people and thats why they didnt get posted. I try to stick by the old saying that if you wouldnt say it in front of your mother then you probably should'nt say it in public. I dont think there is anything excessively inflammitory in the jokes but perhaps people could be more sensitive to others when posting things, even in the out of bounds forum. If I were from a middle eastern country I could possibly take offense with a few off color jokes in there but im not so I didnt get offended.
Overall I think the situation got blown out of control and cooler heads will eventually prevail. I think if people want to argue and provoke others they can stick to ReefCentral....lol

Another outstanding effort by the defense. Costa didnt do much but to be expected since it was his first start. lets just hope that masoli can get healthy and stay healthy for the rest of the season.
Bright side for the bruins is that brehaut looked pretty sharp and should be the QB of the future for UCLA.

anyone see the polls? 16 in one and 25 in another? the usa today poll is a complete joke. cal gets ranked 19th and the ducks 25th. lol
oh well the polls are pretty much useless anyhow. Sad part is that the top 4 teams will get beat up on by each other and boise will win out with its pathetic remaining schedule and has a shot to sneak into either the NC game or at least a top bcs game. gotta love it

definately a pathetic showing. hopefully it was just boise playing good defense and oregon having an off night. we will see next week i guess. but if the O-line and masoli play like this all year its gonna be a Loooooong season.

St Peter is manning his post at the gates of Heaven and deciding who gets in and who doesnt. Well all of a sudden he has to go to the bathroom really bad and spots Jesus walking past and hollers out for him to come over.
He says, " Jesus, can you do me a favor? I need to go to the bathroom. can you watch my post for me?
Jesus says, "Sure. But what do I do?"
St Peter Replies, " oh, its easy. Just interview people about htier lives and families and such and see if they would be a good fit for Heaven."
So, Jesus agrees and starts interviewing people while St. Peter heads for the bathroom.
After a few minutes a very small frail looking old man with gray hair comes up for his turn to be interviewed.
Jesus asks, " What did you do for a living when you were alive?"
The old man says, " I was a carpenter"
Jesus says "did you have a family?"
The old man replies " Yes. I had a son but lost him when he was very small and never saw him again"
Jesus thinks to himself, a carpenter with a son whom he lost and never saw again..?
Jesus looks at the old man closely and says "Dad?"
The old man looks back at him and says "Pinocchio?"

I am actually surprised that he has a sponsorship with the club still. I have been out of state for about 2 years and see not much has changed with regards to this particular business. When I left oregon the last time there was quite a stink over his business practices with regards to pricing and fair competition. And it seems his business practices havent changed. Based on who made the inital posting of this thread I can see that there are still some unresolved issues and hard feelings towards this particular store.
Now, with this new situation coming to light its even worse. Its really sad whether it is true or not. I have only been in his store a few times before I moved and havent been in since I have been back. But I see its about the same.
With regards to his sponsorship or ties to the club I agree that if he is convicted of these charges then the club should revoke any connection to his store and him personally. Not that it will change him or his business practices in any way if nobody from this club gives him thier business.

my 60 cube is built with 1/2" and even it bowed until the eurobrace top was added. so definately consider thicker material at least 3/8" up to 20" high would be safe. weld-on is really easy to use just watch the videos on youtube or even www.melevsreef.com
#4 evaps fast but seems to be harder to cme by recently at least at the local acrylics shops here. #3 is even faster and water thin but is easier to get at least for me. #16 is the thickest for practical home use and is the strongest IMO. but its also the hardest to get a clean seam with cuz it is thick like a gel superglue and takes along time to dry.

took him to local vet yesterday. diagnosis so far is possibly a ruptured disc. gave him steroid shot and sent him home with pain killers and oral steroids. now we just wait and see and hope its not a surgical matter. thank you for all your help. If he needs more extensive medical help I will definately follow up with all your suggestions to see what my options are. thanks again.
