  1. Its standard electronic soleniod and is running off my AC Jr controller. Once this is sold AC Jr will be up for sale. So I guess you can ask about that if you want both.

Just a note, I would prefer people to pick up, so they can see it running on my system, but your choice. Someone has already asked to buy in Portland if I head that way and deliver, however I was just there Monday and don't have plans to head north again for a month or two. Please pick up, if you can't then I will drive up when I get time and I will sell to the person that PM'ed me first.

  2. I second this deal, these guys really take care of you if you have issues to, last shipment I got UPS did a number on it and some where destroyed, literally repackaged in boxes and taped sitting at my door with pools of salt on the patio. Called and they shipped out new sealed buckets. Impur let me know before you order I may add a bucket, I still have a few from last time.

  3. Hadn't seen my wrasse for about 3 days' date=' so i started searching behind the tank. Sure enough. Must have jumped out while i had the eggcrate off doing a WC or something. Grrr.[/quote']

Are you talking about the yellow coris? Sorry man, you have the worst luck with your jumping, my open top (knock on wood) has had NO fish jump other than a single chromis for over a year.

  4. As for the CC if your going to remove it I personally removed ALL of mine by siphon and went bare bottom with remote sand, if your going to replace I would siphone 1/3, wait a week, siphon 1/3 and replace the other 1/3 with sugar and do the same the next couple weeks later. Keep an eye on your system as to not cause a cycle. If you have lots of live rock you should have no problem.

  5. I have always just used contractor grade scres for those, there more than plenty strong. Like Sully said don't over think it, you could hold a car up with a 2x4 and most the weight will be on the corners. Just make sure its level and your floor is level, also a pice of foam is a nice idea but I never do it because when you take the tanks off there always flat anyhow.

  6. I always make sure my temp probe is in the same body of water as the heaters as not to overheat the water if the pump failed, I also turn the heaters to 81 so that if the probe would fall out the heaters wont go nuts. My chiller is set on the CHILLER UNIT for 80 and on my ac jr its probably around 81 to kick on, I have 3 fans that kick on at 80.5 and they do almost all the cooling work, the chiller is just added protection, it usually only comes on if the outside temp is over 95 for long periods of time.
