Bump! Lowered price to $2600!!

Me personally, I wouldn't use a tool - just my finger, but I'm a "professional"! Those little tools they sell to help make nice caulk corners for like baths and sinks are just a pain in the butt to me. As long as you have caulk between the glass edges, that inside seam doesn't provide a huge amount of strength. If you press harder (and even pressure too) your caulk joint should turn out a little nicer and more consistant. Press hard enough to feel the edge of the tape against/under your finger. Not sure what caulking you got, but be sure to check the time it takes to "FULLY CURE". Most of the stuff we use at work is water proof after 24 hours or less, BUT actually takes 14 days to fully cure - which can be a huge difference when you need it to hold a tank full of water together!! I've never made a tank myself, but I've been thinking about trying one. I haven't figured out the top bracing yet - I thought about putting a 1-2 inch solid rim of plexi around the top, since that would be easier to polish the inside edge - and add strength to the top. Mmmmmm.... Ninkasi....(drooler) Huh, what... oh ya - if I can throw my opinion out there as a glass guy - if you use black it will show less imperfections, ie bubbles and uneven caulk joints. Also, try pressing a little harder with your finger as your smoothing the joint. Another trick is to lick your finger or spray a little glass cleaner on your finger first and then tool it. I'll try to get some pictures up today or tomorrow. It's dark green, but the hood is primered. The G60 engine has the super-charger, but they have a ton of problems with it - well, not always, but people seem to blow them up quite often. If you've drove a G60, the VR6 is about the same thing. Very quick. lots of power. Fun to drive too. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Lower price $2600 OBO 1993 Corrado VR6 This car runs and drives nice, Neuspeed coil overs, sway bars, exhaust (not the real loud anoying kind). Rear spoiler raises. Needs a little TLC but a great project car. It needs a couple more plastic pieces interior. I have a hood for it that is pretty straight but haven't had time to put it on. Well, i've had the car for about a year and a half or so, and I've come to realize that if I have the time to work on - I don't have the money! And if I have the money, I don't have the time! Hey guys- I want to sale my huge plating hydno. It's attached to a rock and it's about 16" x 12", roughly. I'd like to get around $150 for it. It's a nice big show piece and I'd like to see it go as it is now. This thing really glows under actinics. If there is enough interest, I might be willing to break it up into a few smaller pieces too. It doesn't sting any corals like the typical hydno's do - seems like a totally different polyp formation, but I was told it is a type of Hydno. It's been a model citizen in my tank for years, just time to get rid of it. Let me know if you're interested! Thanks for looking! -Dave

I kinda have the same problem as you. I'm running the XM 15k DE and I wouldn't say they are yellow, but they don't have the blue I'm looking for. From the research I've done and the tanks I've seen, I think I like the Phoenix 14k DE the best. You'll have to check around the LFS's and online places to see who has the best prices right now. I've also had luck with the rubberband trick. Band the tree to a rock - not too tight, not too loose - and it should attach. For shrooms, I use and old clear plastic container and drill/poke holes in it for a little flow. Throw some rubble in the bottom and put the shroom in. Depending on your flow, you may need to use the lid too. In a few days the shroom will be attached to the rubble and you can glue the rubble to whichever rock you want the shroom on. HTH -Dave

I got it from Saltwaterfish.com. I was on the 'waitng list' for a good 4-5 months and they sent me an email. I just got my taxes back sooo... you know the rest of the story. Yes, they are reef safe to a point. I hand feed my stars at least once a week with some food I made for the stars and RBTA. It's a mix of fresh clams, scallops, and oyster. They seem to love it and eat it right up. No problems with fish disappearing, but I only have some percs, a firefish and a clown goby. Starfish don't read though, so I guess there's a chance they would go after fish, but they are fed well. I heard these red serpants like to melt down after shipping, so it had a nice slow 5 hour acclimation. We'll see how it does in the next few days.

Look what the FedEx guy brought me today!! It came in a reddish-orange color but I'm happy with it. It looks alive and healthy too! I'm kind of a serpant star freak so I'm loving this thing. This makes #6. What do you guys think?

Well, like said above, it will either happen in about 10 seconds - or never. My True Percs host in my volleyball size frogspawn. I had a pair years ago that hosted in my Xenia too! (nutty)
