  1. Twice today the power to outlets on one of my energy bars lost power and went to zero watts turning off most, if not all, devices connected to that bar. Each time the power restored quickly. This bar had been repaired by Neptune two years ago. I seem to recall someone local who collects them for later repair. Anyone know who that is?

  2. Thanks for checking.  The pH was below the set point for several hours.  It's odd there's nothing in the alarm log. I just rebooted the APEX and got an a separate alert about a pump being off. Weird. Maybe it's just related to pH.

  3. I'm sure it's something I'm doing! :)

I had to take my skimmer off line for a couple of days, which is used to increase pH with a Soda Lime air scrubber. My pH dropped below 7.70, but I didn't get an alert or any record in my alarm log.  I'm including below screenshots of my settings.  Where should I check?

Alarm log for yesterday.  The reading dropped by 7.70 at 11:20pm and was much of the day today.

  4. Hello all, time for some professional assistance :)   I have a Bubble Magus Curve 7 Skimmer with a 4-year-old SP2000 pump.  I realized today that the intake was clogged with cheato for a few days. I removed the skimmer/pump and gave them a good citric acid wash.  When assembling the pump I used some Vaseline to lubricate the rotor and ceramic shaft. When I put the pump/skimmer back in the sump and turned it on it wouldn't prime and start pushing water. I removed and tried it in the kitchen sink with similar results.  Eventually, I got to work and its pushing water great and silent. When I reinstalled in the sump, it did the same thing again.  I had to turn the pump on its side and raise and lower it to get it going - then assemble the skimmer in the sump.  Thinking it might be the rotor, I also tried a new rotor, but same problem.

What do you think? Maybe the inside of the pump housing isn't round anymore? It looks round.
