  1. Let me do some thinking...I have never used an external return pump before...what are the benefits of using one as opposed to a submersible one?

  4. I used a gravity fed auto top off on my 90 gallon back when I lived here before... it worked GREAT!!! I am thinking of doing something similar again on the 120 I will be setting up here... have it come from my RO/DI to a container with a float valve and then from the container to the sump with a float valve too... would this work???

    Yes... I am pretty sure the Clown Trigger, however beautiful, is one of the meanest triggers you can have....
  10. Before I can get my new 120 going, I need some electrical stuff done... a new dedicated circuit and some outlets moved.... anyone an electrician in our group or know someone that can do this?? how expensive is it to run a new dedicated circuit???

I don't even know how many gph a return pump should be for a 120 gallon... 1200 gph?? more? less? anyway, if some of you know and have something for sale that would be appropriate for this size tank please let me know... oh, and I would like it to be submersible... have never used an inline pump and don't really now how that works. Thank you!

    Ditto... I had a male blue jaw in my 180 gallon mixed reef in Kansas and he was a MODEL CITIZEN...I loved him! I could hand feed him and he was basically a little baby... never bothered anything and was very fun to watch swimming swimming swimming....he had a great personality, was basically just like a loyal dog!

  20. I can't believe I never saw your post!!! SORRY!!! Yes, I am FROM Wichita and my husband and I and our 2 kids were living in Andover. YES!! I know Rick and Tonya and I actually WORKED at Sea Dreams!! Where were you in Kansas and what brought you out here?? Yes, it is nice to be out here again (we actually lived here from 1997-2005, my husband was with adidas then) but very hard to be so far away from family.... I would love to meet you sometime, thanks for the welcome!
