They are all doing awesome! Flick, football, and origami are all looking great. Their banners are starting to get long. Dori is getting big, Nemo is getting thick, and Mr. Puff is loving life after eating one of the krill Nyles dropped off.
Ah! There is phosphates in flake! I was thinking I was crazy or something....I've been so busy lately that I was feeding more flake than before just becuase it was easy, and my tank is now suffering because of it.
Does anyone here culture their own phytoplankton?
I am, and have for several months, but I would love to get a start from someone else after I move to see if it would go longer in between crashes.
I love discus, but haven't worked my way up to them yet. The freshwater is a lightly planted 29 gallon tank for my betta and all his buddies, because there is nothing like watching the betta "stalk" his live foods...
GroYurOwn, thanks for the offer, but my tank and I are in Cottage Grove, and I doubt you want to come down to help.(laugh)
I also have a freshwater tank that has to move...I know...FRESHWATER?!?!? (whistle)
Thanks guys! We do not have a formal completion date for the new house, but it darn well better be on or before the 15th of July.(scratch)
Would you guys move the tank first or last?
Ew, a doctor? Major yucko!
Tell you what...when I move the tank I'll have some recreational beverages on hand for those who are crazy enough to help.(whistle)
No more damsels!!! I don't know what to do with the ones I have.DOH!
Thanks for the offer, but I have the joy of showing a yucky old house tonight.(sick) Ahhh, the perks of real estate.(laugh)
Why are you selling? Just looking for something different?
Buy my own? I don't think I've ever bought my own!(laugh)
Hi Nyles...haven't made the move yet. They are hanging the drywall today. They say they will be done and have us moving in around the first. I'm doubting that, but we will see. I'm going to be ticked if it's not ready by the time I have to move out of the current house.
Almost.laugh
I've been told that determining the sex is much the same as for a mandarin. If it has a long "spike" on the front of the fin, it's a male, no spike, a female.
