I'm sure they are made in china, like most of the aquarium stuff, but their prices seem almost too good to be true. Thanks for your response. downhill_biker Posted March 8, 2009 Share Posted March 8, 2009 I currently have an odyssea fixture and love it....Of course I wanted new bulbs, so bought the phoenix 14k, and the ballasts wouldn't fire them, so I bought new galaxy electronic ballasts, and didn't feel safe with the wiring, so rewired the whole thing. some of the LED moonlights have wiggled around and broken the wires. So basically, I have spent over $700 to get this odyssea light to be anything worth while. I still like the looks, but if I had to do it over again, I would just buy some galaxy ballasts and some lumenmax reflectors.
