Breefcase
Well, I'm going to have to get a phosphate reactor, due to sawtooth caulerpa taking over my tank. In researching, I noticed how expensive the media is, I mean holy cow. it's only rust, for gawds sake. Anyway, anyone interested in getting together and buying in bulk? http://www.reade.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5250&Itemid=10 I've inquired about a quantitiy of 100kg, and will see what they say. madmike
You might want to get in on the Bulk Reef Supply group order. The have what many believe is the best GFO around for the best prices.

pledosophy
White sugar might work better, and is much cheaper. JME
kriswaters
Sugar good for nitrates yes but phosphates? Hmmmm. Hard however to run in a reactor. Perhaps a "vodka" reactor should be invented!
dsoz
Sugar helped my phosphates. Living things need phosphates too. When bacteria grow they uptake phosphates. Then the skimmer removes extra bacteria. dsoz
