Beckie
I have bought and lost... floated away really 4 nice frags. I used methods, glue, pin, and tooth pick. A few have said it "is" in the tank and will attach some where. I can't find any of them and would like to get another if some one can tell me were & just how to KEEP them attached. Yes I heard "weed" used but I really love them. Any ideas would be great
fishmanmike01
Markdadof2 has some for free. Hit him up.
MadReefer
I have some attached to rock that I will sell for the cost of the rock.
Beckie
I think that just may be the way to do it. To long of a drive right now though. But thanks for the offer.

dsoz
I am in Oregon City, and can get some brown pulsing xenia, and/or some white "red sea" xenia out of my tank for you. I can also get some white anthelia (grows in a mat, not a stalk). I don't have a lot, but I could get one or two stalks of each for you. I just took it all out last month, and I already have several growing back. dsoz
Beckie
I'm in the Portland area. I think I may get some pulsing from Markdadof2. I hope it stays attached. If fell in love with the "red sea pulsing" but couldn't get the frags to stay attached(sad). I don't think the "must have" feeling is gonna go away on this one. So I'm destined to keep trying
markdadof2
Beckie, I fragged off a clump of xenia today and it is rubber-banded to the rock. Let's give it a few days and it should be attached. I will try to get a picture of it tomorrow for ya!
dsoz
If it does not work out, let me know. I have some growing in the sand, and it is easy to superglue the sand to a rock. dsoz
markdadof2
If the red sea xenia is the white xenia then I have some of that as well, but need to grow it out a bit before I frag it. Beckie, you are welcome to some in a few weks if you like. This white xenia seems to grow a bit slower than the other type.
Beckie
I have only seen the white "red sea" pulsing. I have the waving hand one. Being a noob I must sound dumb. I had no idea there were other colors.... blue, brown. I can only guess how nuts I could get. Maybe a small tank of just "pulsing"! Funny I think its so wonderful and others call it a weed. Thank you all so much for helping me with a want. Hopefully I can learn what I'm doing wrong.
Beckie
If it does not work out, let me know. I have some growing in the sand, and it is easy to superglue the sand to a rock. dsoz I glued the frags I had with "IC-Gel" I was told it worked best. The frags seemed to slowly come loose. Go to work, come home.... gone forever. Is there a better glue? Or is the sand the key here? Beckie
markdadof2
rubber bands is the key here Seriously, they only take a few days to attach to the rocks and if you rubber band them right there is no harm at all. If it does cut the xenia in half and both halves attach you will have a bonus xenia in no time I have never had luck with soft corals and glue. MadReefer
I call it a weed and wonderful. Part of why it is wonderful is because it's a weed. I love anything that grows well in my tank.
