darrellw
I saw this guy crawling across my rocks today. Any ideas what it is? Good or bad? I hope good, because I don't know if I can find it again. It is about 3/8" across.
dsoz
Asterina starfish. Depends on the color. light grey/white are normally considered OK, they may eat some coraline algae. Dark or colored green/red are sometimes coral eaters. I have been finding the green/red ones in my tank recently. :( dsoz

CA2OR
I usually don't worry about them until they get about a dime size or so. Then take them out. Don't worry you will more than likely always have more.

markdadof2
Will do' date=' what is it?[/quote'] Racefan, what you have is what is usually labeled as the bad asterina starfish. If you can find him again yank him out if possible. Good luck.

Lowman
Not to be a thread hijacker but..... I think I may have one also. I noticed a little green one today after I fired up my tank yesterday. Same kind of starfish. I personally take them out as soon as I see them. They will add to your bioload if you have a lot of them
