JasonH
Beckie, If you can't find any locally - here is an internet source. I have not purchased through them, so can't vouch for them. If you do end up ordering, let us know how it goes. http://www.marcorocks.com/
dsoz
I have some DIY rock (crushed coral and portland cement mix) that is just about ready to be used in a tank. I have it in a tank full of salt water, there is chaeto, xenia, and hermits living in the tank. If you want pictures of what it looks like, I can post some later (I can't do it at work). There is no coraline algae growing on it yet, but that is what base rock usually is. Once coraline algae starts to grow on it, you will not be able to tell the difference. I have a couple of pieces of it in my tank, and also in the tanks-for-teachers tank at school. You have to look hard to tell the difference. I will be asking for $2/lb for it. Let me know by a PM if you want to come look at it. dsoz
