downhill_biker
Here is a video of my clownfish. They have been acting wierd lately and I was wondering what you guys thought. Other people have said that it is mating behavior, but I am not sure. Are they just doing this because they are tank raised and have bad habbits? dsoz
They seem like they are on the small side to be starting to think about mating. How old are they? It usually takes a couple of years before they are mature enough to mate. dsoz
downhill_biker
i am not sure how old they are. i have had them for about 6 months now. one was very small when i got it, about 1", the other, about 1 1/2". that said, breefcase has a couple clowns that are breeding, and they aren't much larger, if any. Benny503
My clowns are the same way too, they both hang around all the time. At night time they both sleep one on top of each other on the sand in the corner of the tank. I had them 3 or 4 months ago from SEAHORSE. Great fishes..... I love them. CCR
Really they just look like there clowning around. Don't see any breeding moves.
Breefcase
Look for them to be cleaning a nesting spot, actually biting the rock or glass, even rolling over so they are belly up (not permanently, lol). They will do this for a couple days before spawning.
downhill_biker
My female is REALLY fat. I have seen the female nudging the glass in her corner, but nothing serious. I am thinking that she is a little more mature than he is, so if she lays eggs, he may not know what to do with them.
