didn't get the job

So some of you may know that I was in the running for an assistant principal job. It was at Churchill high here in Eugene. I got an interview and was one of 30 applicants. Still, it "was not the right fit." I am a middle school kind of guy I guess. Overall interviewing for a principal position is intense but positive. It keeps me on my toes. Hopefully next school year I will land a principalship. It is more stressful than teaching but just as rewarding. Back to the fish lair!

It will happen. I have a friend that is a principal in Cal. She just kept plugging away.teacher, counselor, Asst. Principal, Temp Principal, and finally Principal.

I have always voted for school taxes, even when I didn't have a child. It is truly a worthwhile investment for the whole community.
